I've shot at several ranges in S.E. Michigan. This place is the most friendly and non-judgmental. They have shooting events and training. They have been closed due to a bad fire. They are NOT closed indefinitely. I stopped by there on April 17th and talked to the contractors. They they are finishing the construction, the place looks really nice! And they are re-opening in early May. They are shooting for the week of the 10th. I'm looking forward to shooting there again!

I purchased a Groupon over Christmas as a gift, and have had nothing but trouble trying to get in to use it. Whenever I have called, I have found the staff to be rude, and condescending, especially the woman who usually takes the appointments. Today I was told there is no lanes open through the weekend, and next time to call a week in advance! No thank you! Groupon will refund the purchase price thankfully. I did get into another range in Livonia, with no appointment necessary. Its called Center Mass, and the employees were helpful, professional and its veteran owned.

Tried it a few times, other ranges, etc. This range is 5 minutes from the house and love it. Bought the membership and haven't looked back. The guys there are nice enough to me and guests I bring. I really appreciate the cleaning room after a long session. What else to say... It's not going to be perfect for everyone, but you have to weigh what is really important to you with regards to an indoor city range.

Closed indefinitely. I heard rumor they had hazmat on site, but nothing is going on there. No construction whatsoever. Nothing happening. I've written it off. Nearby places: Firing Line: crazy busy place with 18 lanes and exceptionally poor customer service. A victim of their own success. Center Mass: Closer, nice place less than 10 minutes away with a good setup and good people. Lanes are actually heated in the winter. Go figure. I like the people there. They actually talk to you. Only real downside is poor ammo selection and their reloads are iffy. I think they will figure it out....

The range has been closed for 6 months now.. You could have rebuilt the building in that time. I guess most people have moved to other ranges by now. im getting use to going to the firing line now.

My boyfriend and i went there just for a quick shooting session but on arrival the woman working at the counter said they didn't have us on file, although we had been there before. So we had to refill out the range application.. Not that big of a deal. We bought a half hours worth of range time and they noted us when that was up and we decided to purchase another half hour. The lady told my boyfriend that we only actually had just under 20 minutes because she had given us 10 extra minutes on our first half hour. Excuse me? It is not my problem that you weren't paying attention to a clock and you accidentally gave us more time. $26 dollars for just under 20 minutes of range time? That is just ridiculous. We were entitled to another half hour because that was not our mistake that she had given us more time than allowed for. Im sorry, but while i'm enjoying my time shooting my guns i'm not going to be looking at my watch to keep track of time. They have a speaker set up in the range just for talking to the shooters to allow them of that. I won't be coming back to this range. Stick to Center Mass on Plymouth in Livonia. Nice, professional, and knowledgeable.

I bought a LivingSocial deal for 1 hr range and gun rental in March. Every time I called, they told me they didn't have any time slots available after work or on the weekends. They told me to come during work hours or try and book several weeks in advance (can't do it due to flexible weekend work schedule). That's been going on for 6 months. Per their web site they have 8 lanes and are opened until 9 pm x 7 days a week. A simple math shows there's 320 hours of after work rentals available every week. (40 hrs x 8 lanes). Yet they couldn't accommodate 1 hr for six months ? Probably they oversold and are unable to honor the deal, or they are throttling (e.g. only have 1 lane dedicated to this deal). Either way, this is dishonest. I was able to obtain the refund from LivingSocial. I will continue to patron Target Sports in Keego Harbor - I never had a problem just walking in and renting a lane there. I will never, ever spend a dollar at Firearms Exchange.
