Have 1Weather app installed.  It's pushing notifications -- but so is Google Now weather.  Any way to cancel Google Now weather notifications without disrupting the rest of Google Now's notification functions?

I had the same issue with music. Downloaded Music Boss for Wear, so now I get 2 notifications for music on watch. If I turn off Play Music notifications then I lose the notificatification on the lock screen and the pull down notifications on home screen. Catch-22 is right, +Ron Epstein

Just bought a Galaxy Live.  Could have gone with the more popular Gear 2 and Neo phones but I think Android Wear has the brightest future.

QUESTION...

Why do only some notifications (but not most) cause my watch to vibrate?  Alerts from Facebook vibrate my watch, but things like Weather cards and email alerts do not.  Any way to make all alerts vibrate?

It's something that's up to the devs. Check with them to see if you have any options in that area.

Also, does your app vibrate on your phone for a notification? I had this after flashing a new ROM where I didn't check "Vibrate" in Gmail. Irritated me to no end, then I found out that I was an idiot.

Anyone have recommendations how to get more than 8 hours of moderate use out of the Galaxy LIVE before the battery is completely drained?  I have the brightness setting on "4" and the screen dims when not in use.  It's kind of pathetic that this is the kind of battery life this device provides.

+Ron Epstein If you aren't aware, you can turn the watch screen off in settings. Even though the face is normally dimmed, it still must draw a lot of power throughout the day. Try turning the screen off and when you touch it or receive a notification, then it will turn on. I hope that Android adds the ability to shake the watch to turn it on (like the Pebble Watch has). I hope that helps.

I am a single traveler. Never thought I would find myself staying at a Bed and Breakfast. After all, those kind of places are designed for romantic getaways for couples. Took a chance and booked this B&B. Michelle, the owner, is the loveliest person you would ever want to meet. She made a very nervous first-time B&B traveler feel very secure. Since my initial stay, I have vacationed at Crown Ridge two additional times. In June, I will be staying for my third. Michelle and I have become friends, and I really look forward to seeing her every year. Her hospitality is second to none. The breakfasts she serves are not only delicious, but creative. She has a real talent for what she does. If you are staying in the Niagara area, you deserve to treat yourself to Crown Ridge. It is a fantastic Bed & Breakfast that I look forward to returning to year after year.

Stay away from this company... ....really! They make promises to do a job, then don't follow-up. They don't respond to emails. They don't respond to phone calls. Very sloppy operation. I had to go with someone else to get my Home Theater Installation needs taken care of. I used xtremesightsandsound in Freehold. Again, I would not use these people. I am very displeased that I sent a half dozen emails and left a voice message with the company and they never bother to respond after promising to do a job for me.

I AM GETTING HARASSED BY GOLD COAST PLEASE READ THE UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS REVIEW... I have been with Gold Coast Cadillac for about 9 years. Leased three different vehicles with them. For the most part, I have really enjoyed driving a Cadillac. It's a great car. The dealership? Two major problems ultimately led me to leaving them. First, Robocalls. This dealership does a ton of Robocalls to your home. Recording after recording either promoting something, introducing a service, or asking for your opinion on something. I had called the dealership, talked with the woman at the reception desk, and asked her to remove me from all Gold Coast Cadillac communications. She became very nasty with me saying, "that means you won't get any information from Cadillac." I told her that would be fine. She angrily replied, "okay," and then quickly disconnected the call without even a goodbye. What happened? The Robocalls continued. Nights, weekends, this dealership would continually bother me with recorded phone calls about their service. Additionally, I had a pretty decent salesman that I was comfortable dealing with. I had asked him to take care of some things for me. Those things were not done. Know why? He suddenly left Gold Coast and didn't forward those concerns to anyone else on the staff. Furthermore, I was never even personally notified that my personal "concierge" had left the staff. Perhaps Gold Coast should have made Robocalls announcing that. Finally, I still have a problem with any service department that doesn't offer vehicle cleaning on the premises. It becomes tiring having to take the vehicle to a complimentary auto car-wash across the street every time my vehicle is serviced. My Cadillac lease is almost up. I might have gone for another SRX, but go to Cadillac's web site in August and they aren't even listing their 2016 crossovers -- giving specifics on it --- while other car companies allow you to build their 2016 vehicles online. I am moving to Lincoln this time out. I'll give them 3 years on a new lease. If they can manage to stop bothering me at home at all hours of the day, it will be a major plus in my book. Perhaps in 3 years I will return to Gold Coast. Maybe they will be conducting their business a little bit better than they are now, listening to the concerns of their customers rather than abandoning them and being rude on the phone when they ask not to be bothered at home with Robocalls. ADDENDUM: I have just returned my leased vehicle and I am STILL getting Robocalls to my home from the service department. Time to put Gold Coast Cadillac on phone block. Sorry...if you don't have the decency to provide PERSONAL customer service with a human person instead of flooding customers with robocalls, then you don't deserve me as a customer. Please, folks, make sure that if you buy/lease a vehicle from this dealer to tell then NO ROBOCALLS. Otherwise, you will get many of them at all hours of the day. UPDATE: Now 4 months post response from Steve Stigliano at the bottom of this review.... Gold Coast has increased Robocalls to my home. I am not even a customer of theirs anymore. So, it seems that the dealership is very unhappy that I have posted a negative review and taken steps to further harass me. I am going to be writing an letter to General Motors complaining about this dealership and their harassment. Meanwhile, I have switched over to the Lincoln brand. I was very pleased to find that any calls to my home are done by real people who value me as a customer. If there are service or any update related issues, I get a phone call from my concierge. Lincoln does not resort to Robocalls at all hours of the day. When dealing with a luxury brand vehicle, one should not be subjected to the laziness of recorded phone calls. I get enough Robocalls filled with spam solicitations on a daily basis. I don't need my dealership adding to the problem. Out of spite, Gold Coast has now ramped up their efforts to harass me.

Great pizza places are dwindling in the Eatontown area. I used to be a regular patron of Ninette's Pizza in Shrewsbury. By far, they had the best pizza in the area. However, over the past two years, it seems like they took on new owners and as thus, the quality of their pies took a nosedive. Once you start cutting the quality of ingredients, your customers are going to notice. I will never go back to Ninette's again. So, today I felt like trying someplace new. I did a search for Pizza places in my area and found quite a few with various ratings. As you are here reading Google reviews, you can see how well rated this pizzeria is. I decided to give it a try. I called and ordered their NEW JERSEY PIE over the phone and made the drive to their restaurant to pick it up. When I walked in, I was greeted by their staff who were extremely nice. That's a huge plus. At Ninette's, I never got even a hint of a smile when I approached their counter. My pizza was ready in 15 minutes as promised. It was priced somewhat cheaper than the pizza at that "other place." When I got home and sunk my teeth into my NEW JERSEY PIE, I was pleasantly surprised. Pizza was favorable, not overly greasy, and you could tell it was made of hight quality ingredients. It was the absolute best pizza pie I have had in a long time. It was also nice to see that each pizza box comes with a coupon. Buy 10 pizzas from Guidos and you get a free large pie. Shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish that task as I will become a regular at their restaurant. My family is really excited about trying their other pies and seeing if one is any better than the other. I would highly recommend you at least try Guidos against your favorite pizzeria. You might be surprised how much better it is.

I found Add-A-Link through Google reviews and relied on those reviews to reassure me that I would be getting a quality fence company to do an installation job for me. I only felt obligated to return to Google and leave an honest review for anyone else considering this company for hire. I needed a 10x10 fence put in my backyard for my dog. With a pet access door from the house, it would enable my dog to roam in a small pen. The person I had been dealing with at Add-A-Link was Peter. He is a great guy. Very warm, professional and very easy to communicate with. He and I were exchanging emails and phone calls for days. He always promptly responded to any questions that I had. I also felt he gave me a rather fair price for the job he and his crew were going to do. Peter came when promised, and he and his men did a fantastic job installing my 10x10 dog pen. I had to dig up the ground to expose the sewer line. His men took the time to fill all the dirt back in and rake it clean so it looked nice. They took the time to spray paint any nicks in the fence after they were done, and even gave me some advice on how to take care of it. This company deserves your business. Look no further for any other fencing company. The 5-star reviews that I share with others on Google are all the real deal. Peter will take very good care of you and ensure that a quality job is completed in the promised timeframe. I am so unbelievably happy with my new fence and how professional the install looks.

I write reviews for a living so I wanted to take a very unique approach to what I wrote about my experiences with George Wall Ford Lincoln in Shrewsbury. Everyone at George Wall urged me to write a positive review. Most people, just taking possession of their vehicle would do exactly that. However, I decided to wait. I wanted to see what happens weeks after a person leaves the dealership. Would I feel as "special" long after the sale was over as I did the day I walked into the dealership? Unfortunately, I can't say I do feel "special" anymore. I will talk more about this in a few moments. Let me begin by saying that I have been a long-time leaser of Cadillac vehicles. Over the course of a decade I leased several Cadillac models. I like their brand. However, after a decade, I felt the brand was no longer re-inventing themselves. Meanwhile, Lincoln made a huge splash with the introduction of the 2016 MKX. Here was a real game-changer in the line of mid-sized luxury crossovers. I was intrigued by the smooth, quiet ride and the 19-speaker Rebel system. I did a lot of Internet research before even stepping into George Wall in Shrewsbury. I talked to someone who had just bought a 2016 MKX from Irwin Lincoln in Freehold. That person urged me to go see them first as they were a "family" operation who had treated him like family. He told me there was no haggling and that he felt he got a very fair and sound price for his vehicle. My choice to go with George Wall was solely based on the fact that they were less than a mile from my home. My salesman at George Wall was Bob Maloney. I really liked Bob and felt that he was a very knowledgeable and competent salesperson. I would recommend him highly. However, I didn't care for the haggling process. Of course, like any dealer, my price started very high. It took quite awhile to come down to a price that I felt was fair. However, once I got home I found out that the lease calculator on Lincoln's website showed an even better price. The explanation I was given seemed rather implausible given what I was pricing. I really have to give the most praise to Sales Manager Matt Small who went above and beyond the call of duty to secure me a 2016 MKX when there were none to be had. It was mid-Summer and the 2016 MKX vehicles were only beginning to make it to dealerships. The vehicle I had ordered would take at least 10 weeks to arrive. I was close to going with another Luxury brand because of the wait. There was an out-of-state dealer who had a MKX with comparable specs. The dealer was being unresponsive to requests to make a swap. Matt Small did a remarkable job of doing the impossible and securing me a vehicle despite the obstacles. For that, I should give George Wall Lincoln 5 stars. However, I was disappointed with a few things that happened after the sale was over. To begin with, the MKX, in general, is missing a huge feature. It does not have a digital speedometer in the instrument cluster. By all rights, it should be there. The owners manual states it should be there. I went back-and-forth with the Internet Sales Manager, asking him to help me get in touch with the right people to help me bring this issue to light. The best the sales manager could do was tell me to deal with Lincoln's online support. I found that response to be disheartening. I had already gone that route. Meanwhile, I just found out, by reading a Lincoln Internet Discussion group, that one owner's sales manager called Dearborn Michigan directly to bring his customer's concerns to the powers that be. Why couldn't someone in that position at George Wall Ford Lincoln not go the extra mile for me when I asked for his help? That same individual saw me the following day, sitting in the service area of his dealership. This sales manager, who I just leased a $60k vehicle from said "hello" to me as if I was an afterthought. I no longer felt "special." The magic was over. Also, vehicle prep was sloppy. Lots of outer vehicle transport stickers never removed.

I didn't actually set foot in the dealership. However, I did make quite a few inquiries by phone and email concerning a quote on a 2016 MKX they had on their lot. I had the opportunity to speak with Nicole of client relations both personally, and through email communication. She was very happy to give me a quote on a vehicle I was looking to possibly lease. Since I was also working with another dealer who was more local, I ultimately chose to order through them and wait for a vehicle to be manufactured. I was very pleased to find that even though I turned down Lincoln of Wayne's offer, Nicole was still kind enough to give me tips on coming to cost terms with my local dealer. I thought that was exceptionally kind of her to do and worthy of me taking the time to write this positive review.
