Last year you were incredibly supportive when I participated in the 5k Race for Life and together we raised over 300 pounds for Cancer Research UK. Well, as some of you know, I've been keeping up the running and in a moment of madness, I've signed up for the 10k Race for Life this year at Clumber Park on 21st June.

Yes, 10k. (It seemed like a good idea at the time).

So here's the thing, if I double the distance, can you help me double the money raised as well? I'm already out training with the lovely ladies of the Notts Women Runners group but knowing that I've got your support as well would be brilliant. Last year you were amazing at helping me raise so much.  This year could you be fantastic and help me raise over £600 for Cancer Research UK?
These funds do come back to support researchers so, if you can help and spare a little cash towards something that we know has a big impact on so many lives, please sponsor me. You can donate via my Just Giving page at:
https://www.justgiving.com/elaineswift5
Your support, as ever, in whatever form, is greatly appreciated and please do share with anyone else who might be interested in sponsoring me.

We’re looking forward to meeting you all at the EMLT event tomorrow. Hopefully you’ve all been working on your google docs ahead of the meeting. Tomorrow we will be turning those resources into presentations.

Some final details about finding the event tomorrow:

The meeting will be held in the Staff Development Suite, Chaucer Building, Nottingham Trent University. You can find the City campus map here (http://www.ntu.ac.uk/map_files/120745.pdf) but the best way to get to the building is to come to the main entrance (revolving door entrance) for Chaucer Building which is just by the NTU tram stop.  Reception will send you up but the Staff Development Suite is on the second floor.

Coming by car
If you’re coming by car, you can get reduced parking (£5) at Trinity Square Car Park (http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/article/23463/Trinity-Square-Car-Park).  Remember to bring your ticket and we’ll ensure that it’s gets charged at the right amount for you. To get to NTU from Trinity Square car park, turn left out of the car park entrance and then left again onto Shakespeare Street. Carry on all the way along Shakespeare Street, pass the fire station and other NTU buildings and when you get to the end by the Boots Library can see the tram stop down on the left-hand side of Goldsmith Street. The Chaucer Building is over opposite side of Goldsmith street.

By Tram
It’s £3.70 for a return ticket on the tram and you now need to get a ticket before getting on the tram. Park and Ride facilities are available at Forest Park and Ride. Or you can pick it up at the train station. There’s a stop for NTU.

WiFi Access
NTU are part of eduroam and there’s wifi in the suite. Anyone who needs guest access, just let one of the team know and we’ll help you out.

If anyone has any problems finding the Chaucer Building tomorrow please don’t hesitate to get in touch with CPLD enquiries: 0115 848 6552.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
