A hyperdoc I created recently for my military history class.

Anyone know if it's possible to make transparent backgrounds for charts in Google sheets, say for inserting into a presentation? All the charts seem to come contained in a white box and you can't set the fill to transparent or none. Excel seems to be able to do this. Can sheets?

If you're looking for ideas of things to try next semester, take a look at my weekly Something New Tuesday posts! (If something isn't public it's district specific) Much of the ideas are Google Apps focused. This week's post is a recap of the TOP 10 SNT ideas from first semester. Enjoy!

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of an easy way (add-on, script, etc.) for someone to be able to email a row of data to a student? Here's the scenario, T's are using an online-esque scantron service but there's no way to email scores once they are graded. All you can do is download the scores to a .csv file or print out all the report sheets and waste more paper. I thought maybe if say email address populated one column of the spreadsheet that there would be something that could then email the rest of the row based on the email address. Any help?

Is there an expectation that teachers use your expertise? Do your admins actively send people your way for coaching help?

Anyone know if it's possible to increase the size of an embedded google slides show in a google site? Seems like you can't go past the "large" size even if you change the sizes in the HTML code.
