Happy New Year! Resolutions still going strong? As a new-ish parent, a 2017 goal of mine is at least '1 date night' per month. Parents put date nights on the back-burner all too often, which is why I was SO excited to kick off the trend early with the Andrea Bocelli concert in Dallas last month just before he ...

Shall we brunch? Last Saturday I joined a couture crew of DFW fashionistas at Lark on the Park for my first Dallas Blogger Brunch hosted by Rhonda of The Skinny Arm. The sunny and warm vibes were complemented by french toast, fresh conversation outside of baby-talk with Wilhelmina, and plenty of ...

Did you dress up for Halloween? My weekends of jam-packed Halloween festivities and candy corn binges ended when I moved to Switzerland. But it will always be a special day for me as I met my husband on October 31st exactly four years ago. Although, we didn’t dress up for Halloween this year in Dallas, …

New post in #Texas!
Have you ever heard of a lemon shake-up? It’s not Beyonce’s newest song, but it is the icy beverage that had me hooked after one sip at the Texas State Fair. It’s been going on the past 3 weeks and just ended, so you’ll have to wait a whole year if you’ve been waiting to …

Did you watch the debate last Monday or the VP battle last night? Politics haven’t interested me this much since getting hooked on House of Cards and taking my European husband to Washington DC for his first time. Of course, I won’t be talking politics here because this blog stays neutral. Just a little Swiss …

I don't know about you, but I was up until 3 am last night clicking from network to network, scanning Twitter, and reading status updates from Facebook friends going through every emoticon I could imagine. One thing is for sure today, people are exhausted from this election.

Feeling like a sweaty mess in the Texas heat, I laced up my 16-month-old daughter’s pink Nike’s, piled her diaper bag full of toys, her sippy cup, and a zip-lock full of sweet potato Puffs. We rushed out the door to meet Bianca. Bianca works for Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support helping victims of Domestic …

Locals weren’t kidding when they said ‘fall is amazing in Dallas.’ Warm temps, blue skies and sunshine almost every day this month is a perfect way to start each morning. I’m also addicted to my old fave, the Salted Caramel Frappucino at Starbucks, which I had to skip the past 3 years living in Switzerland. …

New Post! #Spain #travel #TargetStyle
Saying goodbye to summer is always sweet and sour. After spending the last couple weeks in Europe visiting family and enjoying the ‘summer season,’ we’re already missing our laid-back, messy hair-don’t care, makeup-free mommy & me days in Spain. We spent nearly 10 days in my favorite place, Majorca, an island off the coast of …

Have you jumped on the trend of the year? No, not Pokémon GO. Push Pikachu aside for a moment while we discuss the off-the-shoulder trend revealing clavicles across the country (and world) this year. ‘Do you have one yet?,‘ I asked my sister last week. ‘No, she replied, adding, ‘those shirts will make my shoulders …

I rented a SUV for the Thanksgiving holiday and loved it. Easy pick up, great rates and I have rented with Enterprise at least 10 times this year and they constantly have the best customer service of any car rental companies. Great cars and never over-charge or cheat their customers so I trust Enterprise and will always look at their site first when booking.

I've been going to Merry Manicures for almost 10 years and now whenever I visit San Francisco I always go back. A mani/pedi is such a good deal and Mary is so friendly and remembers everyone's name and does a perfect job. I usually find street parking or it's a quick ride from Union Sq. in a taxi. I used to go nearly every week when I lived in SF. :)

I have gone to Copy World for over 5 years and continue to have the BEST service and quality when I print flyers, cards, or marketing material. Amir is so helpful and friendly and makes sure the order is perfect. We just printed nearly 30K coupons and the quality of the color and paper was perfect. Thanks Copy World!
