New Post! #Spain #travel #TargetStyle
Saying goodbye to summer is always sweet and sour. After spending the last couple weeks in Europe visiting family and enjoying the ‘summer season,’ we’re already missing our laid-back, messy hair-don’t care, makeup-free mommy & me days in Spain. We spent nearly 10 days in my favorite place, Majorca, an island off the coast of …

Have you jumped on the trend of the year? No, not Pokémon GO. Push Pikachu aside for a moment while we discuss the off-the-shoulder trend revealing clavicles across the country (and world) this year. ‘Do you have one yet?,‘ I asked my sister last week. ‘No, she replied, adding, ‘those shirts will make my shoulders …

‘Rihanna is coming to Dallas next week, can we go can we go?’ I begged my husband like an 11-year-old school girl a few weeks ago. ‘Yea, sure!‘ he said. We hadn’t been to a concert in years (the last was Pink in Zürich), but I love Rihanna’s music. ‘Love the Way You Lie‘ was …

Quick FYI Today, Friday February 19th is National Lash Day! Remember when it was as easy as a coat of Covergirl or Maybelline? Now, lashes are a booming business with lash bars expanding all over the country and fake ‘natural‘ looking lashes in every drug store. Did you know satin pillowcases protect hair & eyelash …

‘To me, the Seventies were very inspirational and very influential. With my whole persona as Snoop Dogg, as a person, as a rapper. I just love the Seventies style, the way all the players dressed nice, you know, kept their hair looking good, drove sharp cars and they talked real slick.’ – Snoop Dogg I …

Want to know how to get a table in Texas on a Friday night without a reservation during summer at the most popular restaurants? It just takes four little words. ‘Can we sit outside?’ Yep, that’s it. That’ll ‘er do the trick. Sure, the host will look at you like you’re a little crazy and …

New post in Dallas!
I have fallen in love with a dessert this summer that is so good, I’ve been eating it almost daily for months. I’m always a little skeptical of sponsored food posts (no offense to Blue Apron), which can often seem forced. While this may seem like a sponsored post, it’s 100% real. Ok, back to …

¿Cuál es tu comida favorita? Yep, I’m taking it back to Spanish I today asking, ‘What is your favorite food?‘ Mine is Mexican food. I love it and missed Mexican cuisine more than any other dish while living in Switzerland. Sure, there were some Mexican restaurants in Zürich, but with Swiss spices, there was always …

This Spring marks the 10-year anniversary since Jelly Belly discontinued one of my favorite-ever candies – a seasonal sour Easter Bunny. I’ve always been a candy-lover (especially sour). I thought I’d outgrow it in my 20’s, but it didn’t happen. So I’m embracing my sweet tooth and adding a new ‘Candy Break‘ section to Savvy …

My family is obsessed with basketball. From the Warriors game on in the background when I call my mom, to my brother playing point guard in college, my sister coaching in Denver, and my dad’s weekday sports report on the radio in Mendocino County. It’s like walking into mini ESPN headquarters whenever I visit. My …

I have gone to Copy World for over 5 years and continue to have the BEST service and quality when I print flyers, cards, or marketing material. Amir is so helpful and friendly and makes sure the order is perfect. We just printed nearly 30K coupons and the quality of the color and paper was perfect. Thanks Copy World!

I've been going to Merry Manicures for almost 10 years and now whenever I visit San Francisco I always go back. A mani/pedi is such a good deal and Mary is so friendly and remembers everyone's name and does a perfect job. I usually find street parking or it's a quick ride from Union Sq. in a taxi. I used to go nearly every week when I lived in SF. :)
