I used to be one of those people who was petrified of the dentist. I have had okay dentists in the past, but always felt rushed and just like another patient to get through. I've also had some quacks who have done some damage and emotional scarring. However, after my initial check up at Thirty Two, I actually looked forward to my next appointment. So much so that I made two more appointments and actually was excited for them! I have quite the amount of anxiety on a day to day basis, and it's only heightened in clinical/doctor type situations. I have never felt more calm than I have at Thirty Two. When you're in their chair, they converse with you as if you're a long time friend or family. You feel welcomed, you feel comfortable, you feel taken care of. Also, no matter what they are doing or are about to do, they explain everything in detail just so you're aware of what they're doing and why. You'll never just sit there with your mouth open while they poke and prod and you sit there wondering "What's going on in there?" They explain every tool and the reason behind why they're using it the way they are at that moment. If there's any change in pressure or vibrations, etc. They will tell you. They also constantly ask if you're okay, making you feel safe and comfortable. I had to get some freezing done, and those needles are my least favourite. I am so scared of them I begin to feel faint and warm. Not only did they talk me through it, they held my hand and tapped their fingers in a rhythm which I found really calmed my nerves. They truly CARE. The ladies at the front desk are extremely warm and welcoming, and in general the entire staff. You can tell they genuinely love their jobs and care about each person that goes in. I have been recommending them to everyone I know, and I look forward to having them as my dentist for as long as I possibly can!

I just came back from orchid. I was feeling spontaneous and got my navel pierced. There's only one piercer, who also does the tattoos apparently. She doesn't have a single piercing or a tattoo that I could see, which is rare for a shop like that. When I went into the room, there wasn't a single certificate on the wall. The only thing was a Chinese calendar. Pretty sketchy. I thought I'd just go through with it anyways since I was already in the room. Hopefully the jewelery isn't bad, but I guess I'll find out this week. I also got her to change my nose stud to a hoop, and for some reason when she put the hoop in, it hurt really bad, as if she had poked me somewhere she wasn't supposed to. I've had my nose jewelery changed before, and I never felt a thing, so this was weird. My navel ring looks fine, but I have to wait to see if the jewelery is any good or not, or if my body rejects it, which i'm hoping it won't. But it is a sketchy place. I recommend going somewhere where there are certificates and a place that is busy and well known.
