"My leap into full-time creative entrepreneurship was kind of an awkward, flailing leap, but I still took it. It’s all too easy to shy away from things because they don’t seem like an ideal set of circumstances. Did I feel crazy for quitting even though I wasn’t fully prepared and didn’t have the security of being booked out months in advance? You bet. Did I feel absolutely terrified when I had to put my business on the back burner while I was in the midst of change, transition, and special life moments? Without a doubt."

What makes it tricky is the countless options for worthwhile investments you can make to help grow your business and make things go as smoothly as possible.

So where does design fit in among the options to invest in accounting software, email marketing, business coaching, education, virtual assistants, hosting and designing a website, and so much more? This blog post will break down why hiring a designer is important for your business and how to know you're ready (or not ready!) to making the leap of adding a designer to your team.
