It's not that Slaan are frogmen but that in the Warhammer world they are practically demi gods and there's so very few of them they're not going around playing Blood Bowl.

Something vaguely satisfying about putting little faces into circles.

Wandered in about 15 minutes before closing. Ordered a few dishes which arrived speedily and tasted great. Would go again. Oh, having just read the other reviews, they are right enough, the chorizo was also burnt. Everything else was good though.

Walking back from Zoo Lates and decided to get some Tapas and wandered past Jamon Jamon. Everything was pretty disgusting and the service wasn't much better. Ordered Patatas Bravas, Albondigas, Gambas a la planche, some sort of pan con tomate, and both the fried and not fried calamari. Was disappointed with everything. And the speed at which it came out would suggest very little was fresh. The patatas bravas had their sauces unceremoniously dumped on them. The tomato sauce one was literally like someone had heated up the chili tomato sauce you can buy from local newsagents. The albondigas I mustn't have read properly as I expected tomato sauce, but got it in gravy. It was literally like having a beef hot pot though, nothing Spanish about it. The tomato bread was horrendously soggy and lacked flavour. The prawns were tricky to peel and tasted horrible. The fried calamari would seem to have been improperly cooked and chewy to the point of it not even tearing with your teeth. The other calamari was okay-ish, though I didn't like the flavours. Probably more disappointed considering I had a good tapas night out earlier in the week at Don Fernandos in Richmond, but still will avoid at all costs next time.
