Save yourself the horrible experience by going to the grocery store, buying the ingredients and cooking it yourself in less time. We will not be going back. We ordered our 2 burgers by calling ahead. They said it would take 30 minutes but it took 50. Nowhere to sit, too crowded to even want to stay and eat, and my friend who went on the same day, sat and waited an hour and 15 minutes for his order. The employees look miserable. The burger patty and fries were so dry they were inedible and had to be thrown out.

Fries are'nt all that good but the burger is really good. Too long of a wait and kinda pricey.

I had really expected something good to amazing and was severely let down. For $28 to feed two people, you can go to Bear's Tooth and have a MUCH better hamburger and fries. Did not live up to the hype. Both burgers tasted like a plain picnic burger - at best. Generic buns, so-so toppings and average patty. Another great option you may never think of is Paris Bakery & Cafe (Muldoon), again WAY better for similar cost. Wishing it was not so, but my first visit will be my last.

This place is great! Just rolled into Anchorage for work, jet lagged, looking for comfort food and this came up. Petty much a small on the side of the road servin' up some good sized burgers. Ordered the Hawaiian and enjoyed every bite (the patty did fall apart on me a bit). My only complaint is it felt like we were waiting for a long time and indoor seating was pretty limited. Maybe this is more of a call to go type place?

ive been a customer since before it was tommy's. its true there is not much room in the shop... but its 4 tables inside and 5-6 outside... not 2 like some other dude claims. also the dude who claims you can eat for cheaper at the tooth... what a joke... the tooth charges half again as much...

Had a 20 minute wait as it was a busy time with lots of people in the door. Our order got 'screwed up' where we ended up with an extra burger, otherwise everything else was correct. We're not from the area, but it was one of the best burgers we've had in a long time. The person at the register was a bit eccentric, but was really good about getting people's orders rung up quickly and making sure they were taken care of. I would recommend Tommy's to anyone visiting the area.
