Old G+ vs New G+
In my opinion the new Google+ user interface is simply brilliant.
Thank you Google UX team. #newgoogleplus

If you use a larger monitor, you are not vasting any additional space. It is the standard that a website should be wider than around 980px to be viewable on all devices. In the new design, actually the space has been used more efficiently.

The chat box that appears on the right side when you make your browser window wider actually leverages the space that was a total waste in the old design.

A suggestion for improvement: The empty space is awkward between the chat box and the main content. It would be more beautiful if the chat box appeared right after the main content instead of al the way to the right. But maybe it is more useable to have the chat box away from the stream.

And I love the wider videos and the way photo albums are displayed.
