During the last few weeks, people have been emailing us asking us about the official launch of the new absinthe from Martin Žufánek: Justifiée & Ancienne.

Finally the wait is over: you can now purchase Absinthe Justifiée & Ancienne on Absinthes.com!

This is Martin Zufanek's version of a preban style absinthe. He used a French oak barrel, the finest herbs and a barrel-aged wine spirit to create this soft and floral absinthe.

Only available while stocks last.

Absinthe Safran from Awen Nature - the first absinthe colored with saffron!

Julien Fanny, distiller at Awen Nature, was inspired to create a golden absinthe using saffron, and settled on a recipe combining 9 different organic herbs.

An organic absinthe of the highest quality!

In a small town in Sweden, something special is going on. Using wild-foraged and home-grown herbs, made on an absolutely tiny scale, two great absinthes are being distilled: Grön Opal, and Vit Opal ...

In our new blog article, you can read more about these 2 absinthes and the history of the Svensk Absint distillery.

We also conducted an interview with Mikael, asking him about his motivation to produce absinthe, the right definition of a 'good absinthe' and much more ...

Our absinthe of the month November: Grön Opal.

This Swedish absinthe is made with wild-foraged grand wormwood. Before bottling, the absinthe is rested at least three months in barrels, so that its flavor smooths out.

Until the end of November, you can benefit from a 10% discount on Absinthe Grön Opal, and get a free grille. http://bit.ly/2enCvza

We spent an eventful weekend in the Val-de-Travers, at the Fête de l'Absinthe.

We enjoyed a lot of different absinthes, visited distilleries and talked with friends from all over the world about our favorite spirit.

Read more about our experiences in the Val-de-Travers at our blog:

Adnams Rouge is one of the very few, naturally red colored absinthes!

The red color originates from the addition of hibiscus flowers.

We have some great news to share with you:
Absinthe Veuve Verte and Absinthe Sevil are now available again on our site!

Absinthe Sevil is a cult classic, loved by absintheurs the world over. DuVallon demonstrates his immense distilling talent by adding a small amount of wine alcohol to the absinthe, providing extra notes that mingle subtly with the exceptional DuVallon fennel, bringing both roundness and a marvelous bouquet.

Absinthe Veuve Verte is one of the best "Vertes". It is produced in very small quantities and has a mixture of character and mellowness.

Only 24 bottles available of each absinthe!

Discover those 2 masterpieces from Monsieur DuVallon here: http://bit.ly/1VA6dzW
