Hip pub offering Belgian-style grub, hundreds of beers & over 50 scotches in a former warehouse.- Google
"So many beers and whiskeys, great happy hour food."
"Slightly heavy pomme frits and sausages are available to go with them."

Cozy dimly lit bar, cavey feel. Falafel sticks and fried rockfish happy hour appetizers were fantastic. Come here after the chocolate factory tour next door at Theo for a fun evening.

I was told that they had a lot of beers here- and that they would have the elusive "white ale". I wasn't talking about a "white Belgian ale". Unfortunately I came across a bad bartender (maybe he was having a bad night?) but he said that they only had one Belgian white ale and was generally 'sassy' (for lack of a better term) to me and another friend in my group. I ended up ordering their only "1" Belgian white ale, out of only 100 varieties and it was OK.

Over 300+ bottles and 66 taps when I visited Brouwer's. This is a beer drinkers dream! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The beers were super tasty too. I would recommend checking it out if you are in the area or visiting.

The best beer bar I've found in Seattle. Walking in, you do a double take on the gothic stone wall architecture, complete with a sky oculus and a little demon over the bar, but you have truly found beer nirvana. The selection is immense. There are hundreds of types of bottled beer and a huge tap selection. During our visit, they had a barley wine festival, so the majority of the taps were taken over, probably about 2 dozen, while there were about another 8 to various styles a bit more tame. The barley wines were all great and the staff clearly know their stuff and have suggestions. Beyond the amazing beer selection, the food is actually pretty good too. The mussels are a must try and probably with the fries, the most consistent item here. The ciopino was also delicious and stacked with more denizens of the deep than Jaques Cousteu knew and had a nice spice level that went well with the strong beer. One of the must try places for the beer lover in Seattle.

Great beer selection but "no tasters" policy and $6/7 a pint. Doesn't have to be that way! Maybe I'm just not used to the "big city". Take me back to PDX!
