In my professional life, I work to build bridges between science, management, and the communities around the Chesapeake that rely on the bay's resources. Most of the time, this involves understanding the human dimensions of Bay ecology and how we might protect the long-standing traditions of the region at the same time we provide for a healthy fish population.
