This is one of my favorite streets in Lijiang, China. Not too long after I took this photo, most of the ancient town burned down, which is pretty sad! I don't know if this particular street was in the blaze or not... have not been back but I would like to go see.

I'll be stopping here on the way to our Lisbon, Portugal Photo Adventure workshop at http://www.stuckincustoms.com/lisbon-portugal-photo-adventure/ - come find out more - it's gonna be epic!

How beautiful is Dubai? I love coming here to take photos and explore the city. For this shot, I was invited through the royal family and a friend to get up onto a building that was about half a mile in the air. This allowed me to be able to shoot straight across at the Burj Khalifa. Most photos you see have it leaning inwards because it's so tall and shot with a wide angle upwards... those are cool, but so is this angle!

Here's a shot that uses my textures at https://store.stuckincustoms.com/textures-tutorial-bonus also a nice tutorial in there for you! I see there is an illegal site out there that has 30,000 downloads of my textures... that's no biggie but thanks for those of you that paid! I don't get worried about that stuff...
Today's photo comes from the from the very southern tip of the Americas. It is a bitterly cold place, even in the summer. I believe that the glaciation period is relatively recent, so the peaks are extra jagged and everything feels fresh and raw.
I can't believe there are actually people that climb this thing! It was hard enough getting myself up high enough on a distant peak to take this shot. Then again, I'm not exactly in mountain-climbing shape. I've heard the old answer to the question, "Why do you climb the mountain?" The answer is always, "Because it's there". Funny -- that is my same answer when people ask my why I DON'T want to climb the mountain.

Some friends and I just made the trek down to Milford Sound for a little photo getaway. you NEVER know what the weather is gonna be like down there. We had good karma I suppose and ended up with incredible weather! It was a great road trip... great tunes, good friends, good wine, and good snacks! Oh, and a few good photos here and there too... a lot more to edit! Oh btw, that is the famous Mitre Peak there on the right sticking out through the clouds.

Oh this was also edited with Aurora HDR Pro - If you have a Mac, grab it at https://store.stuckincustoms.com/software

This is one of many mosques I visited in Egypt. One of my favorite tricks is to get in the middle of the mosque and set the camera on the ground. Then try to make your camera as perpendicular as possible, then set the timer and run away! #egypt #mosque

This is the incredible Temple of Heaven along the main axis of Beijing, China. You can see the moon even happened to align along that same axis... how lucky! It's hard to get this shot without people in it for sure... I was invited by the Chinese Government to come in and they had all these military dudes let me in an hour before the crowds. It was SO AWESOME being in here alone... I just had a ball. When I left, I definitely felt like a salmon swimming up stream! :)

Check it out - just announced - an amazing workshop in Lisbon, Portugal! I usually do just two workshops a year - one here in New Zealand and then another "high end" luxury one in a unique place around the world. Previously we did Namibia, Venice, and others - but now excited to check out Portugal! More info on the page at http://www.stuckincustoms.com/lisbon-portugal-photo-adventure/
