Shit hole. Stayed in one of "their best rooms". No exhaust fans in bathrooms, hot and cold showers, smells, outside looks dirty and so do the rooms. Not worth the money. Never again

A good thing is that it's probably one of the least expensive places I've stayed in that area. Rooms and facility are old and damp. Furniture is beat. Carpet is nasty. Bathroom is tiny and 1950's ish. Nothing fancy here. Not even close. The people are nice and the sports bar and outdoor bar are decent. I have no major complaints...this area of Florida is just "dated". I'd recommend Clearwater instead because there's more to do and that part of the coast is just newer, fresher, cleaner and current.

The Beachcomber Hotel location is excellent, right on the white sandy beach of the Gulf of Mexico. Easy access off the main St Pete Beach road, Gulf Blvd. My wife and I went with our 2 kids and had a great time. One issue with our room, which the staff took care of right away. 2 outdoor swimming pools and the wireless worked great at both -- had to do a little work, but it didn't seem like work with the palm trees all around.

OLD hotel thats been painted dozens of times. Non Smoking hotel BUT people smoke right outside yur room so its not that smoke free. Parking totally stinks. Breakfast.......yeah well bring your own or use that whopping 10% coupon and drive to there other hotel. Who wants to drive to another hotel in the morning to get 10% off??? Beds suck. Pools open at 9am and close at 10pm, BUT the bar is open until 3am. Seems fair...NOT. Looks nice on the website and is pretty nice looking in person. And if you want to relax on the beach bring your own chairs and umbrella because the guy they have renting the lounge chairs doesnt care a bit. Chairs are falling apart or have fallen apart an he just sits on his cell phone without a care in the world. Very sad deal. I thought this place would be nice for the price we paid.

Staff here have been extremely helpful and went above and beyond to meet my request. The reason I'm taking away stars is the clientele this hotel attracts are less than desirable. Drunks roam the property so if you have children don't stay here. If your looking for bikers to party with this is your resort. Rooms are a decent size, bathrooms are cramped, but the room features a massive walk-in closet that could almost count as a second room. The on property restaurant is a joke and honestly not worth your time. They only serve over priced bar food. There are more romantic, family friendly hotels in St. Petersburg. So I can only recommend this location if your traveling without kids and looking to drink alcohol while at the beach.
