And yet another shot of 488 resting after our arrival in Antonito. I'm pretty sure this is the last C&TS picture I have on my iPad without getting my desktop machine running again and snagging pictures off it.

484 simmering in Antonito. I went to black and white because my original shot was very overexposed...I've learned a bunch about photography since all these photos back in 2006!

Another Cumbres & Toltec photo. The train stopped at Sublette, NM to take on more water, and while we were stopped I took this photo of the tender's coupler (top) with the front coach's coupler.

Passing over the Animas River the second time on the way up to Silverton. The 2006 season (when this photo was taken) was the first season that the D&SNG had their replica of the Denver & Rio Grande Western's observation car Silver Vista. The Silver Vista is visible in this shot, right before the parlor car Alamosa.

Needleton Tank, on the way up to Silverton. The watertank is out of commission the last I knew, but I believe the D&SNG has plans to refurbish it to working order.
