Ahoj,

Proper virtualisation via QEMU on OSX is still apparently very painful (I meant to say hard, obviously)...
At least I was able to easily install QEMU itself (what a progress from last time I tried that...).

After finding a bug affecting ruby-libvirt from 2014 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1161338 and spending hours by compiling my own patched ruby-libvirt (because rbenv messed up my system ruby for some reason and compilation was just hanging on "ruby ..."), I was welcomed by "Segmentation fault" after I successfully installed vagrant-libvirt and tried actually using it.

Having to do simple things like variables and conditions in Makefile always silences my complaints about why many programming languages keep reinventing the wheel by creating their own *akefiles.

Interested in Infrastructure as a Code? Then make sure to come to our event next week!
+Radek Simko will be talking about Terraform, which you can use for managing existing and popular service providers as well as custom in-house solutions.

I do have a similar one which I created a couple months ago, it barely fits onto A3 paper when printed, I just struggled to find a platform where to publish such diagram, so that other people can contribute easily.
(i.e. any git/cvs-based service like Github doesn't really work well for diagrams :-/).

Some hints?

SRE Classroom at +EuroPython Conference today truly opened my eyes. Not only I gained better understanding of how SREs work at Google but more importantly I know how to approach the design phase of the infrastructure in much smarter way.
