Gang Member Convicted for Del Paso Heights Shooting
Joseph Fair was convicted by a jury of attempted murder and assault with a firearm. The jury also found true multiple allegations that Fair personally used a firearm, personally and intentionally discharged a firearm causing great bodily injury and paralysis, and that Fair committed the offenses for the benefit of, at the direction of, or in association with the criminal street gang Del Paso Heights (DPH) Bloods. http://ow.ly/vpWs30dMHti

#CaseOfInterest : Steven McCarter sentenced to 151 years to life in prison. On June 5, 2017, a jury convicted McCarter of two counts of rape by force with personal use of a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury and assault with the intent to commit rape against two separate women. McCarter received Early Prison Release as a Nonviolent Second Striker on September 23, 2015. Two months later, he raped and assaulted the first victim. #CaseOfInterest Robert Faler was Convicted by a jury of attempted murder, shooting at an occupied vehicle, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. The jury found true allegations that the crimes were committed for the benefit of and/or in association with the Sureño criminal street gang, and that Faler personally used and discharged a firearm during the commission of the offenses.
