Homey-modern atmosphere, friendly service for an indecisive group of 8 folks with veg, pescatarian, and omnivore diets. Macrobowl was great!

Stopped in for lunch on a recommendation from Benovia Winery. They accommodated two vegans in our group and made a lovely pizza with heirloom tomatoes and pardon peppers. The soup was also vegan and very fresh and flavorful. The prices were reasonable. We also loved the Italian inspired wine list and ended up selecting Coenobium Ruscum - an Italian 'orange wine' similar to Paolo Bea - it was a nice break from the overwhelming number of local wines (while good - needed something different to reset my palate!). It's a small place, very simple, but with great food and a very cozy patio. Highly recommended!

I've been there twice and the food was really nice and seasonal. Good cakes, and great coffee.

I enjoy the farm-fresh organic choices. I am eating a vegan low-carb diet and their dishes are delicious. My wife (a meat eater) enjoys many other options, too.

What an amazing surprise! Our party of 8 tasted most things on the menu and were blown away at the flavors, tastes and textures. If we didn't live in SF we'd be back every week.

Such a relief to know that you're eating locally grown, organic food rather than "conventional" (i.e. laden with pesticides, hormones, antibiotics). The atmosphere is lovely and low key and Lowell (Peter?) is often around in the evenings (I've only been there for dinner, thus far) seating, serving and chatting with patrons. Last night, just before our meal was served, another diner gave us tickets for the symphony. As the performance was to begin in 25 minutes, Lowell suggested that we leave right away and our waitress transferred our food into carry out containers (compostable, of course) without missing a beat. What could have been an awkward situation in a less laid back restaurant was supported by the staff in such a way that we felt utterly at ease. We enjoyed our scrumptious macro bowls in the car, as well as the symphony.
