‘Liberation War Corner’ inaugurated in East West University Library
Dr. Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury Bir Bikram, Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Advisor to the Prime Minister  inaugurated ‘Liberation War Corner’ at East West University. This corner inaugurated in EWU Library as a  part of celebration program of Independence Day on 26 March 2016 Saturday. The corner was designed with the spirit of Liberation War and contains a rich number of national and international books, CD-ROMs and documentaries etc. on Liberation War of Bangladesh. The center has been developed to strengthen the spirit of Liberation war and increase the knowledge on history of liberation war among the university community. Video clips and CDs are available for the library users to see and feel the war and glorious struggle on a day to day basis throughout the nine months of 1971.
Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of East West University and former Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury, Member of the Board of Trustees of East West University, Shamsul Alam, Freedom Fighter, Dr. Sarwar Ali and Tariq Ali, Trustee of Liberation War Museum, Roquaiya Hasina Neely and Asif Munir, members of “Projonmo Ekattor” were present at the inaugural ceremony of the liberation war corner (Muktijuddho Corner).  The launching ceremony was also attended by Prof Dr. MM Shahidul Hassan, Vice Chancellor of East West University,  and high officials of East West University.

This workshop will enable the participants to develop knowledge and practical skills in installation and implementation of GSDL and DSpace which they can utilize in their own institutions.
