Hi team :-) My name is Rochelle Kerwin and I'm from Brisbane, QLD. I currently work as a retail manager but want to move more into the learning and development side of the company. I've mentored and tutored at uni, and was inspired to move into L&D after completing a Dip. management through work for my current job. It really reignited my passion for helping others achieve their potential.

Hot Dog & Movie Night Reviews -

"Turbo" - It was colourful and entertaining enough even if it wasn't as inventive and fast-paced as its previews indicated. The outcome of the film is predictable and it's narrative is pretty generic, but our girls love "Cars" and "Ratatouille" and there are a lot of similarities here. Take a look if you're into the Dreamworks & Pixar animation thing Score: 3 1/2 stars.

"Man of Steel" - Of course it has to be expected that a Superman movie will be full of metaphorical 'corn', but this one is also full of large-scale action scenes that go on too long and risk getting dull (yawn) A big budget and lots of CG, a good movie does not necessarily make. Score: 2 1/2 stars.

+Matthew Kerwin  is calling for a new category in the Aria Awards called "Hipster Rock" after Birds of Tokyo, Tame Impala, and Boy & Bear, were nominated for Best Rock Album - a category that used to included actual rock bands like AC/DC, Screaming Jets, Divinyls, INXS, Living End, Eskimo Joe, Powderfinger, etc... We blame You Am I for breaking it. Haha!

Brisbane is full of surprises. Today there was a bunch of women and half-naked men playing croquet across the street. Sure... it was a hen's party, but still not something you see everyday!

Went to see "Now You See Me" at the cinemas today with +Matthew Kerwin. It was a pretty entertaining film. The only real problem was that the supposed sexual tension between two characters was non-existent and suddenly they were meant to be in love or something?!? I'd see it again regardless... there's just something I love about Jesse Eisenberg!!!

Amazing husband organised a surprise while the kids are up north. He picked me up from work, didn't let me go home... and we ended up on the 15th floor of the Marriott Hotel for the night. Had dinner just up to street at E'cco on Boundary Street too.
