Made a Steam concept page for my project :) It's called Apple and Worm: Patching holes on spacetime and is a puzzle platformer. Have a look and give me your two cents (or 15 dollars, or a million, your call).

Steam Workshop: Greenlight. Apple and Worm: Patching holes on spacetime is a puzzle platformer with unique mind-bending mechanics. It's a 2d platformer but this 2d space isn't your normal 2d space, it's CURVED! The story is not

I'm curious about the gravity mechanic.  Like the art style.

Anyone joining #nitromejam  next week? I'm asking here because my twitter account is too young to participate in hashtag searchs (i.e. I can't talk to people)

I should probably comment directly on your blog but whatever. I suggest you take a look at a game called FinalNinja, by Nitrome. It's a great little game with awesome grappling hook mechanics, it should provide some inspiration for your project :)

Any experts on the subject willing to share some thoughts on this paper? http://arxiv.org/abs/1307.3937
Abstract: Conformal geometry is considered within a general relativistic framework. An invariant distant for proper time is defined and a parallel displacement is applied in the distorted space-time, modifying Einstein's equation appropriately. A particular solution is introduced for the ...

Look at this stunning photo of the International Space Station taken from Earth by a gal called @sparkledoris on twitter.
She attached her Nikon to her telescope and found the ISS using an iPhone tracker! Technology these days!

Poincaré Hyperbolic Disk

In geometry, the Poincaré disk model or Poincaré ball model, also called the conformal disk model, is a model of n-dimensional hyperbolic geometry in which the points of the geometry are in an n-dimensional disk, or unit ball, and the straight lines consist of all segments of circles contained within the disk that are orthogonal to the boundary of the disk, plus all diameters of the disk. Along with the Klein model and the Poincaré half-space model, it was proposed by Eugenio Beltrami who used these models to show hyperbolic geometry was equiconsistent with Euclidean geometry.

Isso parece bem interessante:
http://alexbeachum.com/archives/258 "The game is a seamless first-person experience that gives you just 20 minutes to freely explore a miniature solar system as it dynamically evolves over time. After those 20 minutes are up, the Sun goes supernova and the entire Universe ends. Fortunately, the Solar System is stuck in a time loop, and only by exploring over the course of multiple playthroughs will you come to understand the forces and secrets that drive the Universe."

RPG players, I have a question for you. I'm a hobbyist/indie game developer and I have a very old project on my mind. There has been some attempts to make it a reality, form a team, but nothing solid. Before I keep trying to develop it any further, I want your opinion.

The project is to make a a hybrid between a virtual tabletop and a modern video game. The player would experience the game just like he experiences a session of some elder scrolls game, but with a small handful of other players online as well. The big difference would be the game master, an invisible online player that has absolute control over the whole game world, from the world's geometry to the NPCs dialogues. This idea comes with a world of issues and problems to solve, but that's the idea.

Question: would you be interested in this? would you play it? I want to know if the audience for this game would be video gamers or tabletop RPG players. Right now, I'm not sure any of these two groups are interested.

It's not. You don't even have a blind "email me" button on your profile. Might have changed when G+ "upgraded" recently.

The sushi is excellent, I recommend eating here. The service is ok. People attending the tables are nice but a little clumsy, possibly because english is not their native language, so they have a hard time explaining menu entries, for example. But my biggest nitpick with this place is the menu. There are two pages of items (the high number is a red flag in itself) and they are mostly called stuff like 'yunigusha' 'mouyuya' etc, good luck guessing what are these things, as the only ones that have an explanation are the house specials (something along those lines). But it's an excellent place nonetheless!

It's not the best food in the world but for fast food standards it's pretty good! The staff is always very nice and polite. I once got an extra taco by their mistake and, when I told them, they 'apologized' for their mistake and I got a free taco.
