This hotel is about as good as it gets- it's beautiful and the rooms are incredibly sexy and well maintained. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time and I hope to be able to come back at some point because it was the best hotel experience I've had thus far in my life.

First time in Chicago and stayed here for a few night. We had a room on the 42nd floor which had an amazing view! Rooms are of a great size, beds are super comfortable, and staff all very friendly and attentive. Will stay again!

CONS: The wait staff in the Lounge and Bar are very snooty and service takes forever......I have witnessed numerous people complain about the food and quality of the drinks. Oh, watch out for security if you are too loud as you try to have a conversation over all of the obnoxious people they will ask you to leave. PROS: The best Bell Staff in the city.

Stayed at Four Seasons Chicago for 4 fabulous days to celebrate my husband's 50 birthday. The concierge Kristen and her team is super - got us last minute tickets to see the Cubs, architectural boat tour and the best restaurants. We also asked if we can make pizza and was accommodated - hosted by the Executive Chef - Stephen who is also from NYC. Our pizza composed of pepperoni , truffles , cheese , pineapples, etc. etc. with a delicious French Rose...... we had 2 local Chicago friends who joined us - and had a great time. On the last day of our trip we participated in the Posche tour - we drove a 911 along the shore - beach - and my husband agreed that this was the best birthday trip! Thanks Four Seasons - we are looking into staying at Four Seasons Vancouver in August ............... lifetime fan!

If possible I would not even give them one star. I am a new mom and my husband bought a massage for me at their spa as a gift and a few hours of "me" time. I was so looking forward to it. I get there and I am told that they have a "massage suite" reserved for me. Ok, nice. So what is this "massage suite" it is a couple of massage tables in their board room...I am not kidding. In you bath robe you are taken on a elevator (with other hotel guests looking at you) to another level where you walk past there rooms and then end up in a board room. It was so bright in there and the music was played on a iphone ysing Pandora! Are you kidding me!!! There is no spa atmosphere at all. I was extremely disappointed with this. Then my masseuse was another issue. She was super loud to begin with...lady I am here to relax. Then she runs out of oil in the middle of my massage and had to go out of the room to get more and on her way in out of my room she was banging the doors so loud that it would wake anyone up from a deep sleep. I was super annoyed by this. You are a top rated Spa where are your Spa etiquette. I was also told that they validate parking...when someone tells me that I assume it is 100% validation and not 50%...may be they should mention that when they are telling their customers so incase you don't want to send $15 on parking on top of $150 massage you have that option. I was so so so disappointed in the whole experience. I am never going back and would not recommend their spa to any one

Fantastic overall experience with the stay, play, valet package. This included an $80 breakfast credit, and valet parking for one night. We stayed in a Lakeview room on the 37th floor. Our room looked down onto Michigan Ave. John Hancock was to the right and we had a clear view of the lake. I think the city view rooms are priced higher, but we got the best of both. Window seat was a great place to relax and watch the shoppers below. There was no wind noise on our particular night. Large closet and fantastic bathroom. Writing desk and side chair also. Gym, pool, and locker rooms are top-notch. Took advantage of the free shoe shine service. Turndown service was nice and the staff were always pleasant. Will certainly be back.

A good friend married here and, though it was a stretch for us at $465, we decided to make an overnight of it. Our first night away from kids since becoming parents 2 years before with a 7 month old at home. I was looking forward to it more than I like to admit. After staying up past midnight (rare occurrence) the phone rang at 5:30 a.m. I was in such a fog and the room was so dark, I was banging around trying to remember where I was. As I continued to look for the phone I realized that everyone knew how important this night was to me and they wouldn't call me unless my children were dead. So, still looking for phone, this is what I've decided has happened. I answer the phone hysterical. "This is your 5:30 wake up call." I started bawling. "WHAAAATTT?" Are you kidding me?" I knew I was too full of adrenalin after that shock to get back to sleep and, sure enough, I didn't sleep again. My husband, Mr. non-confrontation insisted we check out at usual time. I complained at check out and they said they would offer me a discount on my next stay at any 4 Seasons. Ha! Big waste of $500 which was so darn much money for us.
