A nice little read about presentations...
#PowerPoint or #Keynote? There are still many who use a Desktop version of a presentation app, and with #Apple OS, you can choose either - which would you choose?

I was chosen from over 80 entries to speak at the inaugural TEDxDrogheda event. Humbled to share my story about asking for help.

Was on the phone with a client and got to thinking about new v existing clients. If I got thinking about it, then I'd like you to think as well.

Krishna is the oracle for all things social. Check out this post about mobile live streaming and data.
How much data do you need when mobile live streaming with Periscope or Facebook Live?

If you are live streaming to Periscope, your Facebook profile or your Facebook Page, are you aware of the demands on your data?

I usually live stream using my wifi or my device with an unlimited data plan so the outcomes of this test did surpise me.

Which platform do you think demanded the most data for live streaming?

Slan to Google Authorship. It ended last week when I was on hols.
RIP Google Authorship

It's official - Google Authorship is no more.

+John Mueller writes:

"We've gotten lots of useful feedback from all kinds of webmasters and users, and we've tweaked, updated, and honed recognition and displaying of authorship information. Unfortunately, we've also observed that this information isn’t as useful to our users as we’d hoped, and can even distract from those results. With this in mind, we've made the difficult decision to stop showing authorship in search results"

It's not really a suprise but very disappointing - back in June I wrote about the Google Authorship Update where Author images and Circle counts would no longer be visible in search results https://plus.google.com/+KrishnaDe/posts/fnQBt5eZ5QR

All these changes and the implications are pretty tough to keep up with especially if you are a small business don't you think?!

Is the game changer some people say it is? Only you can say if you try it. I think it's good for international advertising. But here is a great article to learn a bit more about Facebook ad scheduling. http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/facebook-ad-scheduling/
