Old old joke but I still laughed:
Caller: "Hello, is this Tech Support?"
Tech: "Yes it is, how may I help you?"
Caller: "The cup holder on my PC is broken and I am within my warranty period. How do I go about getting that fixed?"
Tech: "I'm sorry, but did you say cup holder?"
Caller: "Yes, its attached to the front of my PC."
Tech: "Please excuse me if i seem to be a bit stumped, it's because i am. Did you receive this as a part of a promotional, at a trade show? How did you get this cup holder? Does it have a trademark on it?"
Caller: "It came with my computer, I don't know anything about a promotional, it just has '4X' on it."
At this point the tech had to mute the caller, be cause he couldn't stand it. The caller had been using the loader drawer for the CD-ROM drive as a cup holder, and snapped it off the drive.

I find myself wanting to "like" people's comments (under posted articles or comments) on here! Facebook habits are ingrained after all these years. However, I do like being able to give hat tips to those who make intelligent, pithy, or otherwise notable comments.

When I click on the button with notifications / updates (number telling you how many, top right corner next to name), then click on one of the links (who's put me in circle, etc.) it often hangs up. Is anyone else having this issue? If it's just my, then I won't submit to G+.

One of the things I like about Twitter is the ability to verify that someone is who they say they are (the little blue check-mark). Not so on Facebook and it doesn't appear G+ has it (yet).

Heard another bit from Antony Davies earlier today, went on a hunt to find more. He has a series of very short (under a minute) clips on various aspects of the economy, debt, taxes, etc. I'm going to share a couple that struck me as pertinent.

Questions for my tech-type friends: I have Facebook & Twitter feeding onto G+.
1) when I sign out & another family member signs into G+ using this computer it adds the FB / Twitter buttons, etc. & tries to sign them in. Anyone aware if you can turn it off on one account while leaving it on for another?
2) I don't have a gmail account. Every time I log in it opens a gmail window, wants me to put in account / password. Someway to permanently turn that off without affecting the FB / Twitter sign in?
I know if I go digging around I can probably find the answers, but thought maybe one of you might have run into same issues, know the answer already. I guess I can go set up a gmail account if I need to or just keep hitting cancel. I prefer clean start-ups though.
