We taught over dozen people the basics of coding with Python. Then went from variable, string, conditionals and loop to sending custom emails to an excel spreadsheet of addresses in 2 days and 6 hours. Huge thanks to Justin Mathews for taking the pictures.

WatPy Hack Night

WatPy in partnership with the Student Developer Network (develop.feds.ca) presents a Python Hack Night!

Get together to hack on your own project, get some help and share what you are working on. No matter how much or how little you have worked with Python we can help get you started, get you out of a jam or just be a sounding board. Coding is even better with a crowd.

When: Thursday May 24th starting at 6pm
Where: The Multi Purpose Room in the SLC (Student Life Center) on the University of Waterloo campus

RSVP for the event here: http://guestlistapp.com/events/105024.

Going back to where it all started.

We are inviting you to come out on Thursday April 26th starting at 6:30pm to Death Valley's Little Brothers for an informal drinks event. Come enjoy some whisky or expresso and bring your questions about Python and feedback about WatPy.

We are also planning to hold the Hack Night in May with the Student Developer Network at the University of Waterloo.
