I would like to express my gratitude to you, as I'm opening my Korean Grill House Restaurant here in Melbourne Australia.
The reason why I say and pay homage to you is because I've learnt so many things from you in the past 2 years. I've tried and tested at least 90% of all your recipes through your YouTube channel/vids and commit to saying they all are spot on in all aspects of balance and flavor.
My wife is Korean, and I Dutch Portuguese, with over 20 years experience in hospitality working as a chef in 3 different continents, mainly in hotel chains and privately owned establishments around the world. Classically trained in French and Italian in France and in Italy.
When I first met my partner So Yeon and visited Korea more than 12 years ago, I fell in love with Korean Culture and the wonderful things which Korea has to showcase to the world, especially the food. So now I am delighted to tell all about my wonderful journey to all which has now become a special place in my life.
I would have never thought in all my life I'd open a korean restaurant with my background, but am happy and proud to do so because of my love for all things Korean.
Your recipes and obviously YOU have shown me new and traditional recipes which are so deliciously made with love. So thank you very much for the fantastic videos and tutorials you've posted over the years.
Please don't stop what your doing, and as my journey starts with my restaurant I will post pictures from whats happening here in Point Cook Melbourne. Our restaurant is going to be open in mid October and work has already commenced.
