So I'm editing this review because I'd like to explain a little better on my bad experience. This is the first bar I've been to, and it was the worst experience. First off, I only came here to see a good friend's band play: I like Turtles. I was really excited because I didn't go out much. It was exciting to find a hole in the valley so close to home. It was dark inside, with nice wooden bar to drink at. In the back is where small bands play. It's right next to Brent's. However what seemed to nice night turned into a horrible one. The bartender here was super rude becuase I, nor my husband and friend didn't pay for any drinks or tip him for the free drinks. (used the yelp check in offer for 1 free shot), Looking back on it now, I completely understand(I'm also assuming that was the reason). His reason provided was the seats were for paying customers. Looking around, there were 2 paying customers and a dozen free seats. Back then, I could barely pay for gas. Here is the thing: You have to assume people are coming to your bar to watch the band, and drink. This doesn't mean they they're going to do both every time. If you have rules about who can sit where, post them. Also, don't provide free drinks just by checking in if you want paying customers. You should change it to: Free shot with a purchase of drink and check in. I still would never return to such a rude establishment.

I have to say I'm disgusted with my experience here. I can tell you that several people from my work won't be coming back here. The customer service seemed to be fine. They asked if I wanted any Ketchup, ranch etc. However they did have us pull up after we paid for at least 10 minutes because our food was not ready. We ordered 4 meals so I guess this would make sense. The employees were also not rude to my understanding. So my main point of this review is when we finally opened the bag up back at work, lone and behold attached to my ranch dressing was a chewed and disposed piece of chewing gum. White disgusting chewed gum. I'm not sure if it was done intentionally, or if the gum was next to a trash can. I don't think employees should be chewing gum while working period. Super disappointed. Never ever ever again.

This is the worst Subway I've ever been to. Reasons follow: 1. The cashier always, ALWAYS overcharges, or undercharges me. One time they charged me for 3 combos, when I only ordered 2, so I had to drive back. 2.It's very hot in there. The AC is not on, or broken. They rely on the fans. 3.The employees are rude, or non-responsive. I understand they get paid close to minimum wage. It's probably mismanagement's fault. There is no excuse for this amount of excessive poor service. 4.The foods is NOT fresh. For example, the lettuce looks like it's wilting. I recommend visiting Quiznos on Devonshire/Balboa. I went there after I walked out of this Subway(final straw was the AC problem).

First off let me just point out, the inside was, clean. That was the only good thing about it. And that's why it's not 1 star. I also came at 1am. The Staff was incredibly rude. Our server was not responsive. Anything and everything we said was completely ignored or not carried out. 1. We Asked for EGG BEATERS/or WHITES in our omelette. They gave us normal eggs. 2.The Spinach is my omelette was raw, RAW. As if they opened a bag and put on my plate. At least cook it please. 3. Food was cold. Then again it's a Denny's, I shouldn't have high expectations.

Just frustrations . Take your business to Valley Beauty Supply on Nordhoff and Reseda Blvd for REAL Customer Service, lower prices and quality products. I will let you know the reason below! I got here at 6:01pm on a Sunday. They close shop at 6. They had 1 register open with 6-7 customers in line. I had a hair product emergency and Valley Beauty was closed. There was one employee on register one on the floor, so a register was NOT closed. I asked the employee if I could go in, I know what product I want. She replied no were closed. I asked please I have no where else to go, she said no, at this point I was really mad and told them as if they have ANYTHING to do after work. If I was in their shoes, I would've taken the 5 extra mins for my transaction. Customers pay their paychecks, and this is one less they'll have plus all the other people I know I manage to convince. I hope this place goes out of business

The only words that come to my mind when I pass this establishment, is unfortunate. I never stepped foot into their business although I did pass it on the street. I did deal with Bob (I think that was his name) over the phone; and their website. If it wasn't for the lack luster of service I received, I would give this 2 stars as I did order on one of the busiest days: Valentines Day. Like a horrible husband, I didn't think of a flower place to order from until last minute. I decided to give a local small business a try, rather then larger competitors(Which I should've gone with in the first place). I placed an order on their 20th century website, to where it read "We cannot guarantee your order will arrive at a specific time". I thought that was okay as long as it arrived sometime on Feb 14th. In the order process it said, if you have a specific time you wish the order to arrive by, please go ahead and place your order, then contact us by phone. I assumed the first message was more accurate, however I decided to give it a shot. The worst that could happen was I just get a refund, right? So I ended up calling the shop around 30 minutes after placing the order at 9:30am. Bob answers the phone flustered; which is understandable considering it is Valentines day. I introduced myself and asked if there was a chance my order may arrive before 2:15pm; down the street to Newberry School of Beauty. To my surprise he replied "I don't know, it's all on the truck". This confused me as I only placed the order 30 minutes ago. I then asked if he'd be able to look up my order in the system. He replied "I don't know it's all on the truck", I replied okay. He then told me all orders would arrive before 9pm tonight. This information was not listed on their website. Frustrated I accepted this as although my partner would no longer be at the location, I knew someone who'd be able to receive it; as they closed at 10pm. To my surprise, the order never arrived, I was never charged, and I never got a call. I however, did get an order confirmation. I won't be calling this establishment again.
