The Melting Pot of St. Petersburg is proud to have been located in Old Northeast St. Pete for almost 25 years and attracts loyal guests from all over Pinellas County including Clearwater, Gulfport, Pasadena, Crescent Lake, Coquina Key and Venetian Isles. Our historic building was once the home of famous wood carver Earl Gresh and is even thought by some to be haunted. While we don’t know about that, what we do know is that our intimate romantic setting is why locals and tourists alike think of us as one of the best restaurants for romance in the area and others consider it the best restaurant for fine dining in The Burg!

The Melting Pot of St. Petersburg boasts a beautiful bar area, the perfect place to grab a drink before a visit to the Dali Museum, or to have a quick bite from our bar food menu after a Tampa Bay Ray’s game. Our Happy Hour Menu features great specials and we boast that it is the Best Happy Hour in St. Pete! We are just a stone’s throw from Sunken Gardens, so why not visit us before or after you experience the botanical paradise!

Our fun and customizable menu is perfect for fondue by you! Want to join us for just chocolate fondue? You got it! How about cheese fondue and a fresh salad? Perfect! Or for those who want the full four-course experience join us for the whole shebang, cheese fondue, salad, entrée with items ranging from seafood to steak, chicken to vegetarian and of course our chocolate fondue! We are also proud of our gluten free menu created in partnership with the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG).

For an occasional fun meal out, Melting Pot is a good choice. Atmosphere is fun and service was great. The St. Pete location building has a cool history and neat decor. Unfortunately the prices are still way to high for what you get. It's fun to do the entire fondue experience, but for that cost it is just not enough of a value to have me return more than once every 5 years or so.

Overall fantastic restaurant experience. A bit pricey but it's fun and interactive, which is something you don't get too often. Great food that surprisingly fills you up. The staff is friendly and happy to help understand the experience.

Great dining experience, albeit slightly expensive. Definitely somewhere you can drop by after dinner for an amazing dessert experience.

My girlfriend and I have been to the Melting Pot before once in Orlando and another in Jacksonville, FL and both times were great. The St. Petersburg, FL location is another story. Our Server Daryl ruined our experience. When he did show up to the table he was sweaty and out of breathe so much so that he didn't explain the menu. In fact if it wasn't for the Manager and other servers doing his job for him we would have left shortly after our drinks. We were there for over 1hr and barely made it past cheese fondue. The reason for the 1 star is because its nearly impossible to mess up Fondue.

Delicious, amazing you can get full on bite size dips but you will. Perfect for a first date. You don't have to worry about slicing, or too big bites on food and be so uneasy . here just talk and dip, talk and dip some more😄

Had an awesome anniversary dinner there with my husband the other night and the food was awesome. Our waitress, Chantille, was so friendly and accommodating. Everyone there was so nice and the place itself has a great charm to it. Can't wait to come back!
