The Melting Pot of St. Petersburg is proud to have been located in Old Northeast St. Pete for almost 25 years and attracts loyal guests from all over Pinellas County including Clearwater, Gulfport, Pasadena, Crescent Lake, Coquina Key and Venetian Isles. Our historic building was once the home of famous wood carver Earl Gresh and is even thought by some to be haunted. While we don’t know about that, what we do know is that our intimate romantic setting is why locals and tourists alike think of us as one of the best restaurants for romance in the area and others consider it the best restaurant for fine dining in The Burg!

The Melting Pot of St. Petersburg boasts a beautiful bar area, the perfect place to grab a drink before a visit to the Dali Museum, or to have a quick bite from our bar food menu after a Tampa Bay Ray’s game. Our Happy Hour Menu features great specials and we boast that it is the Best Happy Hour in St. Pete! We are just a stone’s throw from Sunken Gardens, so why not visit us before or after you experience the botanical paradise!

Our fun and customizable menu is perfect for fondue by you! Want to join us for just chocolate fondue? You got it! How about cheese fondue and a fresh salad? Perfect! Or for those who want the full four-course experience join us for the whole shebang, cheese fondue, salad, entrée with items ranging from seafood to steak, chicken to vegetarian and of course our chocolate fondue! We are also proud of our gluten free menu created in partnership with the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG).

Great dining experience, albeit slightly expensive. Definitely somewhere you can drop by after dinner for an amazing dessert experience.

Was amazing! Well treated, love the seclusion from everyone. The food was great and the server knew every answer we needed

Our 23 year old wanted to go to Courtside Grill for his birthday but I convinced him that the Melting Pot would be a nicer place to talk about his new job and future over a birthday dinner. We LOVE the Melting Pot and the service and food are always fabulous! Our problem was a group of four ladies that were SOOO loud as to be obnoxious and we couldn't even hear ourselves talk! There was a group of 25 ladies there for a baby shower that didn't make that much noise!! Now I realize this puts "management" in a awkward position but they cannot ignore one able that ruins the experience for all the others! I realize the ladies were just having a good time but a good manager could have approached them with some tact and asked them to use their "inside voices" but the night was ruined for us (and I suspect others). I think we could have had a better and quieter time at Courtside Grill for way less money!

My husband and I went here for the first time not knowing what to expect. The St. Pete restaurant has all these little rooms and alcoves to retreat into. We were seated in a small room that was 3/4 enclosed and very romantic. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We both ordered from the Gluten free menu. Our cheese fondue consisted of 2 types of shredded cheese and red bridge gluten free beer served with veggies and GF bread. As for the entree I had filet, chicken, and shrimp and my husband had filet, sausage, shrimp and chicken in cajun seasoning. It doesn't look like a lot of food, but it is filling!!!! The standard broth that they use to cook the meat and seafood is flagrant and tastes amazing just on its own! I am not into desert, but the desert came with our meal so we ordered a mix of white chocolate and dark chocolate to mix our strawberries, GF brownies, and GF pound cake in. It was amazing! I could eat those brownies all day. Overall the service was 5 star and the dinner was 5 star. Other than my fav Civeche's this is one of the best GF dining experiences that I have had in the Tampa Bay area. And I will be visiting the Melting Pot in Tampa also. Very soon!! Meal+drinks and tip was about 85$. I believe the meal itself was 30$ for three choices and desert and appetizer was included. I was able to take my leftover brownies & chocolate home and even a week later they tasted great!!!

Had an awesome anniversary dinner there with my husband the other night and the food was awesome. Our waitress, Chantille, was so friendly and accommodating. Everyone there was so nice and the place itself has a great charm to it. Can't wait to come back!

Had a wonderful meal with my family. The Crave Combo was the way to go, shared 2 kinds of cheeses to start, then our choice of salads (pretty good Caesar salad, but the pine nuts, not so much!), and then two chocolate desserts to finish - the Flaming Turtle was fabulous! Perfect First Experience!

We had dinner here in January to celebrate my husbands birthday. The waiter we had made it a truly memorable experience. We had two cheese fondues and excellent salads. The melted chocolate dessert was delicious. Well worth the drive.
