I've always embraced this, and is probably why I'm such a fan of Sandbox and Random Encounter Tables.

The "Dragon Descending" on the party should be Rare, but if/when it happens, the Party should be aware, that Death Is On The Line.

Really looking forward to seeing this release, and adding to my collection. My players have already insisted that they see the characters that they're playing now, ride the Wasteland until they're 10th level.

So - many more Adventures and Resources will be needed.

Thought I'd share this with the group. A friend of mine possesses some mad wood-working skills, and decades ago, created this masterpiece.

It's a wood frame, with insets for dice and chits. Inside are 20 of 24 geomorphic printed inserts, for creating virtually endless maps. Also are shown the hand-crafted boxes for storing ... I think 8 different faction colors for multi-player battles.

MANY, MANY hours spent nuking this terrain.

Thanks, Voss.

Coming soon, to an OGRE Battlefield near me.

I plan on filling it with Mini Lightsticks, to see if it will glow.

If it DOES (and it should) ... I'll be be one happy GEV Jockey.

We didn't have much experience with Crawlers and Cruise Missiles when the decision was made to invest THREE armor, and use it against us.

The CP eventually found itself protected by only a MHZ, and a lone INF for screening.

The Crawler had made it halfway across the map, before the Commander ordered a launch.

Ten Hexes into the flight, the lone MHZ takes the shot, knowing that the missile will detonate, before the Infantry will get a shot at it.

We do the math, and calculate the odds, with beads of sweat now running into our eyes. We roll...

Contemplating running an OSR event at Pax Unplugged.

Anyone else thinking of attending?
Already making plans to attend PAX EAST Unplugged.

It's been a while since I've spent an entire weekend gaming.

Anyone else planning on hanging out?

We're experiencing our first real snow of the season, here in Philly - so I'm hoping to introduce my players to the "Winds of the Ice Forest" this weekend.

More of my attempts, to both add variety, and yet streamline gameplay.
