Masaaki Uchino & Shiori Kutsuna are cast in new movie KAINAN 1890 (literally "Shipwreck 1890). The film was previously known as "Ertugrul". The film is a joint Japan-Turkey production and the film features two different based-on-true-stories that displays the friendship between the two countries. Movie is directed by Mitsutoshi Tanaka ("Ask This of Rikyu").

In the first story, which is set in 1890, a Turkish battleship sinks off the coast of Japan and local Japanese residents work feverishly to save Turkish crew members. The second story is set in 1985 during the Iran-Iraq War. The Turks work feverishly to evacuate Japanese nationals out of Iran when Saddam Hussein announces his intentions to shoot down airplanes that flyover Iran.

Lovely app from Samsung, parents with autistic children will love it.

The app works only with Samsung devices but I'm sure it will soon available for other Android and iOS phones.

Thanks Elaine.
