Find "all the favorites and some unusual dishes" along with an "endless supply of chai" at this "cheap" University District Indian; regulars observe the "comfortable", simple rooms "just get more crowded every year", but the "above-and-beyond" staff is quick with "a freebie" if waits are long.
Have been coming here for years and its been great. Went last week, and its changed. I dont know if its under new management or if it has been sold to another party. The service was odd, the bread did not taste as good and the food was a little off. The menu was also shrunk down a little, losing the Mediterranean part as well.
Hopefully the one by Northgate has not changed.
Fantastic food here! A family friend suggested the spot and we were not disappointed. The food was great, service was fairly quick, and as a bonus they had cheesecake with mango sauce drizzled on top! Overall great visit.
Great food, awesome staff, reasonable price and the best part is his owner - incredibly humble guy. I would say it's must visit restaurant in Seattle if you're looking for finger licking East Indian food.
My favorite place. Often gives free appetizers BOTTOMLESS CHAI TEA, nice portions. The owner is cool and pretty much always there.
One small weakness: spiciness levels not consistent. A 2 can taste like a 4 or a 0.
