#Apple  has an #rss  feed on https://developer.apple.com/news/, but the feed doesn't include everything that is posted on that page.  What's the point of the feed then?

Raise a glass/pint.  Certainly made a mark on browsers in its day.

Ok, c|net reached a new low. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57583380-93/google-delivers-return-to-sender-code-for-ios/ is new low.  The code is really simple, Apple has documented how to use urls to hand things off between apps.  Yet the article takes that view it is working around the OS in some way.  They even reached out to Apple for saying they don't expect Apple to allow things like this?!

Time to update my feed list, c|net is gone.

If you haven't played with Now, here is some more info on helping in learn what you want.
Since the launch of Google Now on iOS, we’ve received a lot of great feedback about the app. We’ve seen interest in several topics, including how to add sports or stocks, whether my GPS is always on, and the possibilities of voice search. So, we’ve pulled together 5 tips to help you get more out of the Google Search app:

I admit it, I read c|net mostly for comic value.  Case in point: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-57581879-37/os-x-10.9-to-add-more-power-user-features-report/. It seems to be an article about a 9to5Mac article.   The 9to5Mac article includes:

Additionally, the new operating system will include a new Safari web browser with a redesigned backend for improved page loading, speed, and efficiency…

But c|net restated it as:

A new Safari Web browser also will be making its way to the operating system, according to 9to5Mac. The browser will have a more responsive back end that increases page loading times.

So c|net decided it will be slower not faster?

Google Now is now available on iPhone and iPad as part of the updated Google Search app. Google Now is about giving you just the right information at just the right time—the day’s weather as you get dressed in the morning, news updates on a story you’ve been following, a reminder to leave your house to make it to a date on time and more—no digging required. Was a pretty good launch weekend for us.
More than 10 million downloads in less than 48 hours after release!

We're excited for the positive reception of Google Maps for iPhone around the world. Congratulations to the Maps Team on the recognition for the passion and hard work they poured into it, for this release and over the last 7+ years.

If you're an iPhone user and haven't downloaded the Maps app yet, get it on the App Store or visit: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id585027354?mt=8.

If you already have it -- thank you, and please tell a friend.  Any feedback you have is welcomed, here in G+ or in the app (just shake it).
