 🔘PART I “Bad•A**sed” Women in Film” Series – a mashUp of some of the best works-by-women who make indieFILMS. All genres, subjects, styles & approaches. (Not2 be Missed)

In the Line-Up so far:                                         1. “Black e-Nuff” (duration 00:02:35) – an animated short that deals with the “color question”. The filmmaker’s animated documemoir, takes a playful approach to heavier questions of identity, difference, and self-acceptance.
Mixing animation, interviews, archival photographs, and a strong dose of humor, “come along to my family’s search for belonging”. Directed by Carrie Hawks 

2. “WHITE” – (duration 15 minutes) A SciFi thriller about a possible apocalyptic & dystopian future society and the “melanin thing”. Producer: A. Sayeeda Clarke & Smriti Mudhra. Directed by A. Sayeeda Morales 

3.“WANNA FIX A FLAT?” (duration 00:13:25) by Brianna Abdullah – A. Blast Films                                          
Synopsis: Clint is giving a second chance at having a better relationship with his son when he meets and fosters a young abused boy, Brian; it gives Clint an opportunity of coping for what he missed out on from raising his son.    
🔘FILMMAKERS’ INFO: Brianna Abdullah is a young filmmaker, film editor, writer, and photographer. She has been writing for over 10 years, and has directed and edited many projects for three and a half years. (more about Brianna) @

4. “CALLING ALL MCs” (duration 00:13:40) Documentary Short – Powered by Maysles Cinema • brings to the screen…Non-fiction stories depicting real-life situations.       Synopsis: “Calling All MC’s” explores hip hop through the eyes of two women MC’s trying to bring women to the front of the Hip Hop game, as well as introducing two young MC’s with a lot to say about the events that are happening today.

🔘FILMMAKERS’ INFO: This is Taneisha Mitchiner and Gabby Solis’ first film as directors, as well as their first time producing a film.
