Found an awesome new Jazz Venue with great food on the East Side. So far, much better on all counts then Jazz Alley.

Flower and water has that illustrious feel of a local home town restaurant. They are small and busy, but inviting and warm. The staff is busy but has that smile that comes with the knowledge that you will deeply enjoy the food set before you once you order. The menu is small and precise, which I like, and the wine list is amazing. I had the fortune of enjoying their hospitality and amazing food after the interesting even of getting my phone stolen on the way to their location. The staff was very helpful to me and I was able to squeeze into the bar for dinner. The food is absolutely amazing. The flavors that come with each dish are stunning and stretch the pallet to new and substantial depths. I would highly recommend the seasonal Pasta tasting menu, as it walks you though the breadth of the flavors that they create. Each course was unique and amazing. This is a small place that I would not miss when traveling to San Francisco, but go expecting a bit of a wait at peek times, as they have gained popularity and the location is small. I will be back as often as I can.

Do not ever use this company. We were forced to use them for new construction and they are by far the worst HVAC company I have ever worked with. (The builder fired them BTW). Their customer service is horrible and they take weeks to get back with you. Their venting work is the worst I have ever seen. They do shoddy tape jobs on vent ducting and don't understand return air requirements for AC. They also do not have a clue of how to properly install furnace units. We had another HVAC company come in and fix all their work, replace ducting, add return air, re-seal gaps in the ducts, and fix the air intake and vent for the furnace.
