Kevin M. Gick has been certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia to serve as a guardian ad litem for children in District 23, consisting of the City of Roanoke, Roanoke County, and the City of Salem.

A guardian ad litem in Virginia is an attorney appointed by a judge to assist the court in determining the circumstances of a matter before the court.

Jason has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in the field of Civil Litigation: Defense. This is the second year in a row he has received this recognition.

Dan has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in the field of Transportation/Maritime. This is the third straight year and ninth overall time that Dan has received this recognition.

Frankl Miller Webb & Moyers is participating in the 2017 Legal Food Frenzy that runs from April 3rd – April 14th. All food and funds donated benefit our Food Bank, Feeding America Southwest Virginia. The Food Frenzy is where local law firms, government and public offices, Law Schools and Corporate Legal Departments compete against each other, in their category, to raise funds and collect needed items that will benefit Feeding America Southwest Virginia. The most needed items include Canned Meat, Peanut Butter, Canned Fruit, 100% Juice, Canned Veggies, Beans, Rice, Soup and Pasta. At Feeding America Southwest Virginia, every $1 donated helps to provide seven meals.

On April 1, 2017, Frankl Miller & Webb, LLP, officially changed the name of the firm to Frankl Miller Webb & Moyers, LLP, in recognition of the excellent work and accomplishments of Jason Guy Moyers. Jason has been with us since the inception of the firm in 2004 and has 21 years of legal experience. Jason is an excellent civil litigator and a dedicated family man. He is on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys (VADA) and is also involved in many different legal organizations, giving of his time to assist others in his profession and his community. Frankl Miller Webb & Moyers, LLP, is pleased to welcome Kevin Michael Gick to the firm as a new associate. A graduate of The College of William and Mary and the Hofstra University School of Law, Kevin has been practicing law since 2006. He worked for six years as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in the City of Winchester and in Roanoke County. For four years thereafter, he practiced with a civil litigation firm in Roanoke. Kevin is licensed to practice law in Virginia, West Virginia and Connecticut. He is a member of the Roanoke Bar Association, the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, and the Ted Dalton American Inn of Court. At FMWM, Kevin will focus his practice on litigation, including insurance defense and the defense of traffic and criminal matters.

Dickens will be attending her first meeting as a new member of the Ted Dalton American Inn of Court in November.  The mission of the American Inn of Court is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility and legal skills.  The Litigation chapter of the American Inn of Court is named for the late prosecutor, state legislator and U.S. District judge Ted Dalton.
