Kids love the outdoor boat ramp play area. Other exhibits were pretty fun as well. Kids did get to try it all because of long lines and too many kids playing the toys. Tots play area was limited but not bad. On this day, it was cold and overcrowded. Don't go during spring break unless u like crowds and pushing your way through. The parking garage personnel overbooked and people s car was blocked.

This has been the best $ we've spent on a museum membership. We have taken our son there since he was an infant. The museum helps kids develop their body and mind -- encouraging imagination and exploration through their interactive learning stations. The Toddler Zone is a great place to let the kids run wild and explore. It's safe, clean and fun. The Children's Museum of Houston will make you wish you were a kid again!

Children's Museum of Houston is an amazing site to visit with young Texans in Houston because of the several interactive learning exhibits, activities, and dining cafe.

Wonder, whimsy, and educational wow moments can be found here. I love the set up for little kids and older kids alike! Clean place with very friendly, helpful staff. One of my favorite museums in Houston. I like the area for babies and young toddlers upstairs too!!

This place is great IF your children are at least 7, and IF you have 1 adult per child and IF it isn't a madhouse filled to the max. I think in a few more years we may visit again, but there wasn't much my 6 and 3 year old could do, and I couldn't go into the baby area with my 11 month old without another adult to supervise the 6 and 3 year old. And even though it was a weekday, it was packed solid, very difficult to get around. The Kidtropolis was really confusing, and we were never given instructions. Finally tracked down an employee who explained how it worked. But there were so many kids there that products from the stores were being tracked all over, and it was too difficult for my younger kids to understand the concept of working for a paycheck. A lot of the other exhibits were broken, or confusing, or above my kids heads. Not really worth the headache.

Dirt and dust everywhere, a horrible place. Broken exhibits. The paint peeling off everywhere and the children's put their hands on the mouth. Not like a museum; seems rather a place to play and nothing else. Poor maintenance of the place. There are real museums in the area but this place is not a museum.

I attended a birthday party with my 4 month old and all the kids had a great time. My son was even engaged in watching all the exhibits. The exhibits are wonderful and offer great learning experiences for the kids and I intend on taking my son back when he gets older. I was, however, offended by the fact that they only played Spanish music and all the books that I looked at were in Spanish and subtitled in English.
