The Creator -- not only of this planet but of thousands of galaxies -- invites each of us to come to Him and rest. Let the grandness of this statement wash over you and fill you with awe ...

I once I heard a woman share her life story. She had a peaceful confidence as she began to talk about the struggles in her life. I thought to myself, “How could this woman be brave enough to share about such personal things?” My second question was, “How do I get rid of the hurt and pain in my heart, like she did?” http://ow.ly/4ng3vQ

2012 is on the horizon. With God’s help, this can be a banner year for Stonecroft--a year in which even more people call Jesus Christ their Savior, and even more women create positive changes in their communities. The best way to start making a greater impact on our world is to increase our prayer. God invites us to bring our hearts and requests to Him. How will we respond in 2012? http://bit.ly/rXMk9z

On that first Christmas, humble shepherds received astonishing news from the mouth of an angel: The Messiah is born today in Bethlehem! The shepherds responded by rushing to find the Christ Child, then going out to tell everyone what they had heard and seen. This Christmas, we, too, can visit the manger and marvel at the miracle of Christ’s birth. Then, let’s share the Good News with everyone we meet.

Are you in a ministry role that sometimes seems a bit overwhelming? In her new devotional, The Call of the Sandpiper, Stonecroft’s former National Prayer Consultant Meryl Bishop shares: “I don’t know who counted them, but someone has noted that there are365 ‘fear nots’ in the Bible. That’s one for each day of the year. . …As you deal with your fears consider this saying: ‘Fear knocked on the door. Faith answered. No one was there.’” bit.ly/Call_of_the_Sandpiper

Now, more than ever, we must pray. That is why Stonecroft has designated 2012 as our Year of Prayer. President and CEO Geneva Vollrath invites you to take advantage of the many special opportunities and tools for prayer in 2012—including a special Call Unto Me prayer event, Tuesday, April 24 through Saturday, April 28 on the Stonecroft campus in Kansas City.
