I'm a proud father of an 8 year old girl, and a 17 year marriage/relationship veteran. If you don't think either of those are major life-defining items, then you don't know better.
I am a long distance runner; my regular run is just over 7K. I am also a regular practitioner of hatha vinyasa yoga. I am at a point in my life where I respect my body enough to look after it, at least until downloading into a robot body becomes practical.
I love Superheroes, science fiction (especially Doctor Who), reading and/or listening to books, the Green Bay Packers and thunderstorms. I sing in the car when I forget that people can see me. Which is often.
I am an unapologetic atheist. I used to be more of the 'strong atheist' type, meaning that I would rant a little too loudly about the evils of religion, historical harms, the wild inaccuracies and logical faults of the various faith's texts. I'm mellowing in my old age, so now at my most militant I say 'No thanks' when someone shoots me a 'Bless You' after a sneeze.
