Hello everyone, thanks Noan for thinking of this idea! Can you drop off your Gmail address here and tell us where you are (time zone too). Maybe we can start by sharing a folder?

Hey guys, new here... heavy Google Apps user, we have Google Apps in my workplace as well as about 40 Chromebooks with the CMC (Chrome Management Console). I've gone quite far with GApps even building several applications for my organization with Google Apps Script.

We heavily rely on Google Apps.

The big selling feature for us is the powerful sharing and collaboration feature. I have probably hundreds of shared docs and I absolutely NEED NEED NEED to see when someone has made an edit to a doc / SS or presentation.

The new Drive got rid of the feature where edited docs are highlighted when listed in GDrive. I absolutely DEPEND on that feature

This is a problem with web / cloud based apps. With a desktop application, I can choose not to upgrade. But with web / cloud, I don't have that choice.

THanks for the tip Dennis, I might just have to settle for that. Sounds like it'll work for me.

G+ General Help  -

Pictures disappearing from G+ album, they are not in the bin

Chrome 34.0.1847.137
Win7 64

So I'm dragging my pics from a folder to my browser window in Chrome... after a few days, I noticed some pictures are missing. A first I only noticed a few pics, but now I noticed a huge chunk is missing. Like probaby 60-70 pictures in all.

I tend to upload pics to an album on one computer, and browse / edit / view that same album on another computer. Perhaps that has something to do with it? Perhaps the computer is caching the page / album from another computer?

Help!

I'll admit that I didn't see that at the top left of each album. I turned "All Photos" back on ... I should have seen duplicates of all the missing pics if they came back but I didn't (I've been re-adding them). This is really weird.

I've now made sure I logged out of all other computers. I think the problem was that I was using 3 or 4 different computers for editing them at the same time without properly closing them.

Actually, I don't know whats wrong if anything. Its prob me, I googled the question and no one else seems to have this problem.

The big shops and chain shops should look to Hyack Tire to find out what customer service really means. This is a quaint little shop with a small town "ma-and-pa" feel to it. I walked in this morning with a trailer tire that needed to be patched. The service advisor immediately apologized for the wait even though it really wasn't long of a wait. When I came back to pick it up, as I was paying for it ... a service technician had put it in a giant plastic bag so it wouldn't get my trunk dirty, moved it out to my car, and stood by it waiting to help me put it in the trunk. This is not ground-breaking stuff and probably won't lead to world peace. But all this service for the most insignificant repair - a tire patch. It left an impression on me. The technicians seem pretty happy to be there. I'll definitely be coming back and telling others about this place.
