Since it is an izakaya place, it is best to order family style so everyone can get to taste a bite of everything. Of course, those who don't want to do family style can opt in for their dinner combination dinners. Everything in the menu is good. Definitely order a few things off their yakitori menu, as that's what they are known for. And if you are unsure what else to try on their vast menu, go for the items that have the "thumbs up" picture next to it as those are popular items!

Lots of great little small plates. The yaki soba is pretty tasty. They have an area where you can sit traditional-style on the floor.

While staying in CA for half a year, I really craved for some good authentic Japanese food. Honda Ya was able to fill that gap. The sashimi served in Honda Ya was superb!

I go here for the 4 dollar green apple chu-hi and yakitori. I also enjoy their floor seating section on the side. Always great service whenever I go.

It would be so much better if it didn't smell like stale grease. The food is a decent izakaya fare, but they should tighten the menu by cutting mediocre items like ramen.
