I really wanted to like this place a lot. I love seafood and it's highly reviewed by J. Gold, and I've been trying to eat my way down his recommendations. But I thought the service was kind of... brusque for the price and style of restaurant, and the atmosphere of being sandwiched between Jersey Mike's and Walgreens's kind of bothered me. I wish the location were slightly less like eating in a mall food court. The food was pretty good, but I think you can get better and less expensive seafood at La Cevicheria or other places in LA.

Absolutely terrific. choice of outside or inside dining. waiters and service was perfect! Food is beyond delicious. Eat very slowly so you can taste everything happening as your taste buds jump for joy. Great Experience. Make a point to try this place. You will not regret it!

Aside from sushi and some Japanese or Korean dishes, I was never really a fan of seafood. This is one of those places that changed my mind. They really do take seafood to that next creative level. The menu changes seasonally, so it keeps things fresh. But I sometimes do miss some past dishes and wished they would keep them on the menu all the time.

Yesterday my friends and I had the worst dining experience 7/14/13. THE WORST! We were there for the annual blue crab feast, where I should mention it is $75 per person plus tax and tip ($(95.25). My friend is from Maryland and has been talking about this event for 6 months now because you can only get Maryland blue crab during crab season, he made the reservation and paid in advance for two,( We all paid in advance, that was the only way to reserve a ticket ) They promised a Maryland Blue Crab feast with 6 courses, and all you can eat steamed whole crabs. First of all, our reservation was for 7pm. Our whole party arrived early, 6:45 and where told it would be a few moments, so we stand outside and ordered some drinks. Well, that turned out to be over an hour....We sat down around 8 pm, finally. All starving, but we where in good spirits and excited to stuff our faces! We were given the first course, which was a crab cake, but then a minute later our waiter comes back to tell us that they ran out of crabs...YES, ran out. To top it off, he says they will refund us HALF of our check. Half? Well, we were all in an uproar and demanded to talk to a manager. It was at least 15-20 minutes,i had to get up, and got this manager my self,( Patrick ). He was slightly apologetic and said they would refund us the full amount paid in advance, and he took our credit cards to take care of it. Well, he didn't come back for another 15-20 min!, Meanwhile, we already spent over $200.00 for drinks, He never had the intention, to try to accommodate us with any option . no one has eaten and not one single employee in this establishment tried to make the situation any better. No one offered us food or drinks or anything! The real kicker is that some other manager comes over during this time and decides she is going to make the situation better by saying we can have a full refund, or a GIFT CARD???...what the hell?!? GIFT CARD?! WE ARE NEVER coming back here again! Well, to make a long story short, we finally got our refunds, it is now 9:30pm, and we are all starving. I don't understand how you can make people prepay for an event, and then not deliver , and not even try to make it better. They Run out of Maryland BLUE CRAB!!!! It was just ridiculous, and so disappointing. You would think that when you are forking over $100 per person NOT including drinks that you would be treated a little better. NEVER AGAIN. NEXT YEAR THEY SHOULD CALL IT MARYLAND CRAB FIASCO, INSTEAD !!

Good menu, good food, loved the Michelada. I had the soft shell crab sandwich which was good but not terrific. Price to quality ratio wasn't adequate in my opinion. Also, no refills on their delicious French Press coffees.

This place makes a really tasty burger, but I really don't think it's worth the price.
