Ever wondered how we know so much about our planet? Observation is key. Watch this animation to understand some of the capabilities we have today and how satellites comb the surface of the Earth collecting scientific data to feed our curiosity and knowledge.
Thank you +NASA for sharing.

Earth for Orbit: Every day, our satellites provide useful data about our home planet, and along the way, some beautiful images as well. This video includes satellite images of Earth in 2014 from NASA and its partners as well as photos and a time lapse video from the International Space Station. We’ve also included a range of data visualizations, model runs, and a conceptual animation. Watch & enjoy!

Very cool development towards #QuantumComputing , #QuantumStorage , or even #quantumoptics .  These have the potential of changing computing as we know it, if we are able to harness #QuantumEntanglement , it could lead to faster than light communications!

Exiting times!
Princeton University specialists have fabricated a rice-sized laser powered by single electrons channeling through artificial atoms known as quantum dots. Quantum dot are nanocrystals, which are made of semiconductor materials that are sufficiently small to display quantum mechanical properties. “The device utilizes around one-billionth of the power required to run a hair dryer and symbolizes …

Can anyone recommend a good Help Desk software that integrates nicely with Google Apps (at least for authentication) that users love?

This is a must see documentary. A great example of what to look up to in these times, that seem to accept greed and selfishness is as the norm.
This is a refreshing perspective, enjoy and pass along if you liked it.

Amazing!
If everyone thinks like this guy. Our world will be a different and healthy place. Great roll model.
Unfortunatelly our men kind is filled out with greed, it will take a few generations to be in the same plane with this guy.
He's way ahead of our times.

The only thing to produce your own energy, if the rest of the world is out of electricity, there will not be internet, cable, nor phone services. Then, why would you use energy to charge your tablet, phone or connect yourTV?

The LHC Is Back In Business. But What Is It Really Going To Tell Us? | Gizmodo Australia

Good luck to all the #LHC scientists in this new high energy/high frequency round. 13 Tera Electron Volts is a lot of power, use it wisely!

This is a great feature for note taking, adding shots of presentation screens or business cards in the beginning of your meeting.

Thanks Google!
The Google Docs app has been updated to let you add images on the go from your phone or tablet.

Cool visualization for a difficult piece.
I still find it amazing that someone can play this with only 10 digits.
Bravo!

Just wanted to take a sec and share something that I enjoy, I hope you will as well.

Vanros Kloud or V.K (as he is also known as) is one of my favorite composers, here is a little taste.  The video is not much to look at, but close your eyes and listen to the amazing things he can do with a piano.

Want some more?  Download the game "Deemo" to your iPhone or Android, many of his tracks are there and you can actually play them.
:D

Enjoy!

Well, in this day of online translators, it's not quite as amazing as one would think. There's also the fact that almost every school in the east teaches at least a little English to the students. Not sure why they would want to learn this horrible language, though. XD

I rented a one way with Avis at Pembroke Pines on Jan 2016: + They were conveniently located. + Opened earlier than most other location (I picked up the car at 8am on a Saturday). + The gentleman at the counter was courteous, and quick. + The car was clean, fueled and ready to go as soon as I was done at the counter. I was happy with the service and would definitely repeat the business.

I've used them to go to the Airport several times, I call about a day in advance and they always show up 10-15 min ahead of time. Thank you.

The place is very cozy, nice, and clean. The atmosphere was family friendly and the food was great! Try the Curry Noodles. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Not a place for lunch. Slow (40 min to get the food), expensive for the portions, service was not good. Ambient music was irritating at best.
