Last week, Colorado based news sources shared the story of Corporal Jesse Murphree & Jasper, his #K9 #servicedog (linked to here: http://bit.ly/1hiUfc2).

Most recently,@CBSNews.com featured this interview with Niwot, CO native, #veteran Jesse Murphree - cast member of @MakeAHero's new adaptive water sports film 'The Current' -in regards to his innovative bionic limbs and prosthetics.

Jesse has been receiving lots of positive media coverage these days! Please continue to show him some love and check out his CBS Denver video clip: http://cbsn.ws/1jV2ewu

The heartwarming story of #veteran Corporal Jesse Murphree and his trained K-9 companion, Jasper (shown lending a helping #paw in the photo below) was published in #TheDenverPost, #DailyCamera & #LongmontTimesCall, this past weekend. Read Jesse's bio & news articles about Jasper, by clicking here:http://www.makeahero.org/make-a-heros-wounded-military-fighters-fund/

We recognize his story may have been somewhat lost in the shuffle of excitement over the premier of #TheCurrent - which featured Corporal Murphree, along with an amazing cast of inspiring adaptive athletes - though it certainly has not been forgotten. Jesse's fundraising campaign, which began on Veteran's Day 2013, is now in the homestretch thanks to the ongoing support of our wonderful community!
