I think that method is really original and probably more efficient.

Kit Harington in new film

Reports are emerging today that Game of Thrones star Kit Harington is the latest talent attached to Testament of Youth, starring Alicia Vikander.

Adapted from the works of Vera Brittain, Testament of Youth is the first instalment of her memoirs, covering the period 1900 to 1925, and describes the impact of the First World War on the lives of women and the civilians of the UK.

Filming is due to begin in Yorkshire in March on the feature adaptation, which comes from Heyday Films and BBC Films. Heyday’s David Heyman produces along with Rosie Alison; James Kent directs from a screenplay by Juliette Towhidi.

I thought it was an interesting read ......

Lesbian activist, Camille Paglia said, "Homosexuality is not normal. On the contrary it is a challenge to the norm...Nature exists whether academics like it or not. And in nature, procreation is the single relentless rule. That is the norm...Our sexual bodies were designed for reproduction...No one is born gay. The idea is ridiculous...homosexuality is an adaptation, not an inborn trait.
Is the gay identity so fragile that it cannot bear the thought that some people may not wish to be gay? Sexuality is highly fluid, and reversals are theoretically possible. However, habit is refractory, once sensory pathways have been blazed and deepened by repetition-a phenomenon obvious with obesity, smoking, alcoholism or drug addiction--helping gays to learn how to function heterosexually, if they wish is a perfectly worthy aim. We should be honest enough to consider whether or not homosexuality may not indeed, be a pausing at the prepubescent stage where children band together by gender....Current gay cant insists that homosexuality is not a choice; that no one would choose to be gay in a homophobic society. But there is an element of choice in all behavior, sexual or otherwise. It takes an effort to deal with the opposite sex; it is safer with your own kind. The issue is one of challenge versus comfort."

Lesbian comedienne, Mimi Freed, explains her transformation, “I wasn’t born gay; I chose it. Eyes open and mind wide I saw the potential and decided...lesbianism saved my life by presenting me with a vision of myself as an individual, separate from the breeding agenda. Those who say, 'Nobody would ever choose to be gay' is suffering from basic ignorance of homosexuality; they are ignorant of what the gay community privately admits."

Lesbian activist, Dr. Lillian Faderman writes, “The concept of gay and lesbian identity may be nothing but a social construct, but it has been crucial, enabling us to become a political movement and demand the rights that are do to us as a minority. What becomes of our political movement if we openly acknowledge that sexuality is flexible and fluid, that gay and lesbian does not signify ‘a people’ but rather a ‘sometime behavior’?”

Dr. John DeCecco is a psychologist, Director of the Center for Research and Education in Sexuality at San Francisco State University, and Editor of The Journal of Homosexuality. Dr. DeCecco calls himself “gay” but insists that such attractions are a changeable preference not an orientation. He explains in his book entitled, If You Seduce A Straight Person You Can Make Them Gay, that, the whole born gay and immutable characteristic idea is just “gay and lesbian politics” and is aimed at achieving “gay” rights.

Dr. Vera Whisman writes in her book, #$%$ by Choice: Lesbians, Gay Men, and the Politics of Identity, “The political dangers of a choice discourse go beyond the simple (if controversial) notion that some people genuinely choose their homosexuality. Indeed, my conclusions question some of the fundamental basis upon which the gay and lesbian rights movement has been built. If we cannot make political claims based on an essential and shared nature, are we not left once again as individual deviants? Without an essentialist [born gay] foundation, do we have a viable politics?”

Lesbian writer Jennie Ruby admits, “I don’t think lesbians are born…I think they are made… The gay rights movement has (for many good, practical reasons) adopted largely an identity politics.”
Jan Clausen, lesbian author of the book Apples and Oranges writes, “What’s got to stop is the rigging of history to make the either/or look permanent and universal. I understand why this argument may sound erotic to outsiders for whom the public assertion of a coherent, unchanging lesbian or gay identity has proved an indispensable tactic in the battle against homophobic persecution.” Later, Clausen quotes the popular lesbian poet Audre Lorde, who admits the lies associated with the born “gay” hoax as well, when she writes, “I do not believe our wants have made all our lies holy.”

Lesbians Lyne Harne and Elaine Miller explain their feelings regarding the born “gay” hoax: “There’s nothing natural in lesbianism, ‘it’s a positive choice,’ and a political one.” Yet another admission appeared in the homosexual magazine Girlfriends; it states, “No wonder lesbians are so nervous. What makes the lesbian movement strong is the formation of a collective identity, unified behind sexual orientation as a category. If bisexuality undoes that, it kicks the lesbian movement where it really hurts: in the heart and soul of identity politics.”

The National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) is one of the homosexual activist organizations that pressure the American Psychiatric Association to reject homosexual reparative therapy. The NCLR claims that the “gay” identity is innate and unchangeable. JoAnne Loulan is one of the psychotherapists who served on the board of directors for this organization. Loulan made hypocritical headlines on the February 18, 1997 edition of the homosexual magazine The Advocate because she reportedly changed her own sexual orientation when she, fell in love with a man.

Kate Kendall, the Director of the NCLR, who in the spirit of Ulrichs, Kirk, and Madsen argued that the so-called “gay” person was endowed with a fixed, innate, and unchangeable, “sexual orientation” and commanded the American Psychiatric Association to halt all forms of reparative therapy for all people, including those desperately looking for help, actually wrote an article for Frontiers Magazine, arguing that sexual orientation is fluid, not fixed.
Kate Kendall and Joanne Loulan stood before the American Psychiatric Association with straight faces declaring reparative therapy to be the dangerous equivalent of pouring bleach on a black person’s skin to make them white. Then, one of these self-proclaimed “gays” went out and changed her own so-called “sexual-orientation” by falling in love with a man and the other took the time to write an article for an insiders’ magazine arguing that sexuality is changeable.

Wow..I'm so sick of this type of thinking! I'm straight and have gay friends who are good people. People! we are all human beings once a group of people are labeled the intrinsic worth of the individuals are lost because now you are attacking the label so it give compassion and empathy a hall pass and let's anonymity and ignorance have free range. What wrong with two men that love each other and care of each other, so much so that they want to devote their lives to each other and get married.. Are these people against love? The worst part are the Religious whose whole faith is based on the fact you receive and give un conditional love to a man that takes care of you and you carry him in your heart, but as soon as that love between men becomes physical it's game over.

The worst argument is "it's not natural" it's about as natural as it gets! There are 1,500 different animal species that practice homosexuality. I mean look at male sheep, 10% of Rams are homosexual only and exclusively have relationships with 1 other ram for its entire life... This ram is not conscious this ram did not choose to be gay.. This means that this is a completely natural thing, don't get me started on sharks, clownfish or sea horses.

Game of Thrones Fan Art – Mother of Dragons

I may be hanged for saying this but I find Daenerys Targaryen to be one of the more boring characters in A Song of Ice and Fire. Particularly in the earlier books where here chapters were just painful to slog through. I tend to think a large portion of her popularity comes down to the dragons.

This image titled Mother of Dragons, however, is in no way boring.
