Sounds clean, sort of.
Worker ants in some species emit antimicrobial secretions to sanitize themselves on the forest floor. Now, new research shows that these ants also share their cleaning fluids with young, vulnerable broods to keep their youngsters infection-free.

Ants are an essential component of earths delicate ecosystem – think of it this way: if human beings suddenly became extinct, Earth’s ecosystem would actually improve. If ants went extinct, the entire ecosystem would collapse resulting in a mass extinction – perhaps the largest ever.  +SaveTheAnts
