Something else than most restaurants. A small menu but excellent food. Service was a bit slow and prices are high, but worth a visit if you are into authentic vietnamese meals.

Excellent curry, good service, and window seats to watch the people go by. Not cheap, but not bad for Copenhagen prices.

Not the place for a special evening or any evening really Have you ever been looking forward to a special night out? You’re walking through the grand dining room, an abundance of empty tables nicely set, and the host sits you next to the only small child in the entire restaurant. Not at the empty table next to you, or the empty one behind you… No, we are talking the shared kind of table where every squirm and wiggle resonates as you try to carefully sip your first sip without spilling on the stranger next to you. You can’t help but look around and see all the empty tables. Is it because my hair is not blonde and my eyes are not blue? The purebred couple without a reservation behind us got one of the many empty tables in a cozy private little corner. I bring it to the manager, Leif’s, attention that other customers may feel similar to the way my father and I felt and won’t return in the future. A simple friendly suggestion. Leif made me feel as if my feelings didn’t matter. He completely disregarded my suggestion and had no interest in what I had to say. He only wanted to offer us another table, which by this time would look extremely rude to the family next to us, again putting customers in an uncomfortable situation that I simply suggested be addressed in the future. He basically told me if I wasn’t happy, leave then and never come back. I wish we had left. The menu is outright deceiving. The $80 (535 kr) sharing menu for the whole table, really isn’t for the whole table, it is PER PERSON. You know how at every other establishment, it is clearly written per person... not here. The sharing part merely means for 535 kr each, your food just doesn’t come on your own plate. The portions are substantially smaller than the a la carte option and out of 12 courses, I would only order one again, the ceviche. However, if you walk less than 200 meters across the street, NamNam has a much better ceviche with a lot more fish for almost half the price. Also, be aware when the staff asks whether you would like still or sparkling water for the table, this is not included in the menu. A single bottle of still water, which is most likely Danish tap water refilled in the bottle, seeing as they did not open it in front of me, will run you $6 or 40 kr. I would not recommend visiting Restaurant Lele to anyone. It is clear the Lele management has no care for their customers when Leif didn’t even attempt to make a simple acknowledgement and instead snubbed my father when he asked for his business card. We both left with a bad taste in our mouth.

Smagsoplevelsen var fin, men meget små retter - kun en tastingmenu. Betjeningen var jævn og ikke særlig engageret.
