Super excited to be featured as part of Ovation TV’s new “art travel” show American Canvas. The show explores the art and culture of cities such as San Francisco, Austin and Miami and airs Wednesday evenings at 10pm.

As part of the Miami episode I teach the show’s host Dave Holmes how to use a camera to discover his creative vision while exploring the amazing street art and history of Miami’s Wynwood Art District.
From Ovation TV’s press release, “Premiering Wednesday, March 25 at 10 pm ET Dave’s cultural tour of the US continues with a stop in Miami to check out the biggest modern art show in the country: Art Basel. He also takes a food tour of Little Havana, learns how to dance the flamenco, wanders the expansive grounds and gardens of the Vizcaya Mansion, explores Miami’s stunning art deco architecture, checks out KRELwear’s famous knitwear at a custom fitting, and gets a street art photography lesson courtesy of Aric Attas at Wynwood Walls."

It's a great show! Check out the extended trailer here. Sharp eyes you will catch me onscreen at about 18 seconds!

I recently had one of my fine art photographs selected as part of Manhattan Arts International's exhibition The Healing Power of Art. The photograph selected by juror Lilly Wei is from my current body of work titled Seeking The Light.

"My current work is a photographic reflection of my meditation practice and study of Kabbalah. These parallel practices use light to engage the mysteries of creation and the infinite opening the door to receive wholeness, healing and peace." - Aric Attas

I stopped by to see my friend Mori Mackenzie at COOP Vero Beach yesterday afternoon and loved her latest selections from McGuire, JANUS et Cie, Kartell and Alessi. If you haven’t been into this upscale retail home furnishings boutique on Ocean Drive I highly recommend it. Mori and Heather carry and eclectic mix of furniture, lamps, clocks, art, rugs and much more. COOP is a breath of fresh air for Vero Beach!
