Vintage Heart is the quintessential East Austin coffee joint. Not only is it atmospheric, but the staff are all incredibly friendly and all are folks who I believe live by the company's motto: Love Your Coffee. They love coffee and they're genuinely interested in the fact that they're a coffee shop. It definitely shows in the quality of beverage and service. In an age when coffee shops are increasingly becoming an extension of a home office where one can sit and count the mac books, Vintage Heart provides respite from the stiff environment and if you're of the right disposition, you may even have a real conversation with someone there.

Come for the free wi-fi, stay for the locally roasted Third Coast Roasting Company coffee. This cozy coffee shop is a great place for anyone looking for a cup of free-trade coffee or for those looking to play a game of Scrabble. There are even pastries available from Russel’s bakery, many of which are gluten free. Vintage Heart Coffee is focused on quality ingredients and eco-friendly options. By far, one of the best coffee shops in Austin which says alot because there are a lot of great spots throughout the city. This is one of the 1000 reasons why East Austin is the place to be. Love it!! TIP: Open daily 7 am- 8 pm.

Vintage Heart has a very relaxing atmosphere, so I'd highly recommend going there if you need to focus and get work done (or just need to reduce your stress level). The coffee shop is fairly small, but I've never had a problem finding seating. They're also one of my favorite spots in Austin for their coffee-- the lattes are really good, and even their regular drip coffee is above average. It's usually pretty easy to find parking, too; there's a lot behind Vintage Heart, and if that's full you can usually park on a nearby side street.

The interior of this place does not match the exterior. very clean and calm! There's a good mix of soft seating and tables. I tried both an Americano and Cappuccino. The Americano was a bit weak for my taste but my boyfriend liked it. The cappuccino was great! Good balance of creaminess and coffee. Prices are pretty middle ground for Austin - a good spot if you're hanging out east.

Wifi is reliable and the mocha is good. Not bad for getting some work done.

Adorable coffee shop on the east side with white walls, wooden tables, and fresh flowers. Had an iced chai latte in a cute mason jar, and it wasn't bad. Went there to study, and it was a bit crowded and a little warm. But the barista was great, and I dug the vibe --it's the east side, everyone gets a little sweaty. I would definitely go there again.
