I can see that. I've been using SLR's since the '70's, so I can weed through the pure opinion. He actually has decent info, but I will admit, at times, it can be detrimental to someone that is new and impressionable.
The thing is, for his style of photography and the way he uses his gear, he's pretty much correct, but he has no flexibility toward much else and digs his heels in that his way is the only way. And it's funny, deep in his site, there are a few paragraphs where he explains this, but no one probably ever sees it. I've read almost all of his Nikon related and general photography pages. I agree with a lot of it. The other part of it could throw a novice off track, definitely! So, use caution and have an open mind.
Just curious. How did you get Rockwelled?
